I always liked the Mill alt win con. It was such a fun way to win, and in the lore, you pretty much drained your opponent's mind of thoughts. After seeing a clumsy attempt at milling in a modern tournament, I was hellbent to find a viable way to win with mill.
Start with any land that drops for a blue mana, and either Thought Scour, or Tome scour. Next turn drop a black mana, drop a breaking on them for 8. Whenever they crack a fetch, because you know they will (This is modern, people) drop as many Traps on them that you have. Turn 3, mind funeral, or Ashiok, depending on how you view the situation at hand. Turn 4, you can double Breaking them, which is nice for 16, or you can Mind Funeral then, for the next set of 4 lands, totaling an 8 land mill so far added to the 10/13 if you went first funeral over Askiok. I would Funeral again, because by this time you should have milled them for over 20, letting you use Visions of the Beyond to draw 3 cards for 1 blue mana. These 3 cards are generally the winning spells, so you can potentially mill them out on turn 4 or 5, assuming a standard 60 card count.
