This is ah... My second red burn deck. Third, if you count the Izzet Standard 1. Yeah. Second Mono Red burn deck. And Goblins. Blame the goblins. Always the goblins. Well, why's it always the goblins that suffer? Well... This strange goblin motley army of a Shaman, Warriors, and a handful of Berserkers wants to right the wrong... by doing wrong. Clearly, they don't know what they're talking about. But, well... since I made a deal with the goblins (you play us, we win/lose for you), here comes the horde.
If you are given the choice, play first. If not, suck it up and loooose. In the first few turns, play as many creatures as possible. If you have a Lightning Bolt (3 burn damage for {R}) and a, let's say, Raging Goblin (Haste, 1/1, {R}), play the Bolt first for damage. Then, if you have a good hand, you'll have a Warren Instigator out in no time. If, though, your opponent has cheap removal or counters, whatever! Cast your better spells after your other ones, so they'll waste counters on the not-as-good cards. Use the Charbelcher ({3}, {T}: Reveal cards from topdeck until land; deals damage equal to number of cards, double if mountain, bottomdeck revealed) to let your opponent know your deck inside and out, then bottom-deck your stuff. The least damage it could do is a shock. Pretty consistent damage, if you have the mana.
