Deck Description

Trying to see what i could throw together for U/B infect for Standard w/o using Proliferate which I am not a fan of. I still think B/G is the way to go though.

Deck discussion for U/B infect (w/o Proliferate)

More Proliferate! Once you give them their first poison counter, proliferate becomes just as effective as an attack with a 1/1 infect creature, which is generally much easier to pull off without a chance for blockers!

Contagion Clasp is good for the middle to late game, while I would recommend Throne of Geth for the early game. At the very best you can eat Vector Asps you don't need any more, at the very worst it's a 2-cost sorcery-speed proliferate by sacrficing itself (cheaper than Steady Progress, though arguably less useful)

One last idea I'll leave you with: Inexorable Tide, good enough on its own, WITH... and AEther Adept bouncing itself as it comes into play, to b e recasted later.

My idea was to NOT use prolierate really at all since i don't personally feel it's up to tourny speed for Standard yet. The birds are in there just realy as a creature filler i thought of replacing with Necropedes but decieded to keep them just for that random chance I would get to use their ability.

Yeah profliferate is too slow for infect...and in general anyways in my opinion. I would never actually make this deck as my G/B infect deck would roll it. Just wanted to throw it together. I hope they actually make proliferate useful for tourny infect. It's just too slow right now as you can win 3-4th turn w/o it using infect pretty easily.
