Mainly because I dislike how Weak the Syphon Sliver actually is. He tends to be a dead card in my hand quite often, but hes definitely a card for the Sideboard.Ive been looking. Artifacts may turn out to be a problem, but unsure what I could use that uses the Naturalize type effect. Possibly the White Sliver 7 drop, but unlikely.

Alrighty; prepare for book. First, you need to set a base set of creatures. What creatures do you want to use and what creatures do you want to have incase of an emergency (ie Sideboard). Personally, if you are trying to make the deck a Midrange, which is slower than aggro and faster than control, You should look into getting the Shock lands for Jund. Which are Stomping Ground, Overgrown Tomb, and Blood Crypt, plus the Temple of Abandon you already have, then fill the rest with Basics. The Creatures you SHOULD look for finding is Rakdos Cackler, Agent of the Fates, Lotleth Troll, Nighthowler (Which you have two of already), Stormbreath Dragon, Desecration Demon, and most likely Sire of Insanity (Which I know is silly, but its actually a good Endgame play). Spells that should be picked up are; Rakdos's Return, Dreadbore, Anger of the Gods, Doom Blade, Dark Betrayal, Gaze of Granite(Which you have but more for Sideboard), Lay of the Land, Commune with the Gods, and Grisly Salvage. Things like that to give you Card Advantage. Jund typically wants to play out of the Grave, so you have to be careful. Really, it all comes down to Personal Preference; talk to guys at your Fnm shop and see what they think about the Jund deck right now, and how you can improve yours. I hope my suggestions make sense. However, other than that, I like how the deck SEEMS; But its all about how it PLAYS.
What is the point of the deck? I understand that you want the opponent to do nothing, however you have very little control to make that the point. Im confused on what you honestly need help with.
I agree, I just liked having the little niche of Infect in though. They would have to waste a remove on it, or boardwipe specifically for it. Any suggestions on what to put in other than Form? I thought about it but I just dont think I have a good purpose for it. Pauper makes my decisions hard lol.
I didnt even think about the Bow; I have one on hand though. Loyalist can be alright; and Skylasher is more of a new add. I was testing with him and I like the Flash in for a blocker. Its kind of nice. I dont particularly care for the Zhur-Ta Druid; Since he costs two, but the Sylvan seems a little better since its Hexproof and 0/3 instead of a 1/1. Think taking out the Loyalists for two Call of the Clans and two Bows would be a good idea? I dont know what else I could swap out... Maybe the Skylashers?
I still prefer Nylea; But I also run mainly G/x Decks lol
^ That. All of the God cards are pretty OP, but Thassa is probably the best imo.
Thassa would be good. I agree, I forgot how good she was lol.
Nope, Sadly. All of Avacyn, Innistrad, Dark Acension, and M13 are all out now.
Its Avacyn Restored. So its no longer Standard; So he can't use it.
You can put Chain to the Rocks on Sacred Foundry, Steam Vents, and the Basic Mountain; Why not run two more in the Sideboard for extra control against Aggro? Strionic Resonator(Even in FFA games) wont be as effective as you actually want it to be(I do understand that it would be super fun to get 8 turns at once though). I also think that the Hammer isn't completely necessary, You aren't running very many creatures to benefit from it and I think that the Sac for a 3/3 Golem isnt worth it in an America deck. The Spear would work better in my opinion(Atleast for Sideboard). Im not sure I like the Wardens either. I know that they help with every creature in the deck EXCEPT the Omenspeakers, but even if you have the Warden t3 I guess you can do a t4 Prognastic; Or possibly even Medomai t5.How does the deck do against Gruul Aggro/Naya Aggro/ and Red Rush? Have you played any at your Fnm or Games around the area? Id like to know because that is what is ran the most around where I am; Including myself running a Gruul Aggro deck. (Which if you would, Comment on it for me? http://www.mtgvault.com/st4rscr34m/decks/rg-theros-rush/). Anyway; I do enjoy the deck build thoroughly. I would probably use it if I had the cards to build it.
I actually really like the idea of Midrange America; I want to build one with the Theros set out now, and I think that this is a pretty good example of what Im wanting to do. I dont know about using Medomai though... Hes really cool though. Free turns just turn a deck into an unstoppable force; Especially when you are playing in Standard. Anyway; Maybe Sideboard(As said above) Detention Sphere, Probably another Supreme Verdicts, Azorious Charm and then maybe the new Elspeth? Probably not; Jace, AoT would work too; Since I like how he plays against Aggro and even Late-Mid game with the deck.Take a look at my Gruul Aggro deck and tell me what you think; All criticism is always welcome. :Dhttp://www.mtgvault.com/st4rscr34m/decks/rg-theros-rush/
I can't say that I like the Stormbreath, however I do see his point. I prefer the Kalonian over him(And Polukranos). Im not really sure about my Sideboard since I dont have alot of need at the Fnm I attend. No one really runs Control and Enchantment/Artifacts are more popular around my area. I do like the deck overall though; Can be very aggressive and sometimes very weak. This past Fnm I went 3-1 and lost to an Esper Control(The only guy who runs it, runs it well) Against a R/B Rush deck I outsped him and I played some kind of W/G Token deck and then a Sliver deck that wasn't actually put together too well, but was strong enough to put a fight up. Ill leave a link to my deck on here; Please Like/Comment if you would. http://www.mtgvault.com/st4rscr34m/decks/rg-theros-rush/
I would run something that gives you any colour mana. It'd be really valuable in case you can't pull manaweft or grotto. Transguild Promenade, Cavern of Souls, Evolving wilds til rotation. Things like that. Maybe even out a Farseek or two in there just in case?
It is nice, however it only lets you do as such for as long as you can keep a creature up. Once that creature is gone so is that option. I would sideboard to take that out specifically. Also, with the lands, you should get Transguild promenades. Really effective. Shock lands and muta vaults when possible.
Pretty good build, I have a similar one that I use for my local games.Feel free to look at it I'll post the link here.http://www.mtgvault.com/st4rscr34m/decks/the-hive-has-arisen/I think that you should round the slivers you actually use out. Ie Megantic, Galerider, Predatory, etc. just to make the deck function faster. Not needed though.
