Basically you want to cast your commander as quick as possible to cascade into something good.
Cast you Maelstrom Wanderer as quick as possible by using stuff like rampant growth and farseek to find lands to help color fix. If you have brainstorm or mystical tutor you can basically stack your deck for what the game calls for. or just have fun and cascade into a jokulhaups leaving you, Maelstrom Wanderer, and something else on a completely empty board.

NOTE: Set by owner when deck was made.
High Market is a must play land in any Maelstrom Wanderer deck.Other really good ramp spells you might like are Skyshroud Claim, Worn Powerstone, Basalt Monolith, and Mind Stone.Cards like Violent Outburst and Rites of Flourishing don't seem as good. For Violent Outburst, there are far better ramp spells you could be casting on turn 3 and for Rites of Flourishing you're helping your opponents which isn't great.

I like the addition of the high market as a utility land but violent outburst and rites of flourishing have a purpose in the deck besides ramp. Rites of flourishing helps deter people from attacking me as well as making it easier to draw into pieces or answers i might need during the game. Violent outburst is just a dig spell meant for bypassing high cmc cards and lands to find other ramp as well as being a small pump spell late game. I want ramp that allows additional lands to enter the battlefield so i can get landfall triggers off of roil elemental. Thats why i am running few mana rocks in this build. Thanks for the idea of high market though, i did not think of the value it could generate late game. :)
