The owner of this deck hasn't added a sideboard, they probably should...
Start typing a card name and use the auto-complete feature to quickly select the card you're trying to add. Enter a quantity and add that card to your sideboard!
Submit a list of cards below to bulk import them all into your sideboard. Post one card per line using a format like "4x Birds of Paradise" or "1 Blaze", you can even enter just the card name by itself like "Wrath of God" for single cards.

I know a card that is required in this, Birthing Pod. You can use it on the Kitchen Finks, kills him and persist kicks in returning him to the field. Then from the pod you get Melira out, removes the -1/-1 counter. Repeat.

Replace Altar of Bone with Birthing Pod and the deck is Modern legal even! :D
That is very true. And birthing pod pretty much does the same thing, but puts the creature in play and works well with the persist. Of which you should try to find more of to cause the infinite loop with Melira.

I'll replace it and put Altar of Bone for it :) But I'll put altar in the sideboard,
To search up Melira, you have to sac and search the Pilgrim. You can't sacrifice the finks for Melira, because she'd have to be a four cost.
I would recommend Congregation at Dawn over Altar of Bone, to make the deck Modern-legal.
I decided to remove Altar of Bone with Birthing pod instead :)
how about adding a blasting station or like 4 OF THEM for an infinite damage combo
you can also add a couple power station to keep the persistant creatures up while melira isnt there
I replaced Blasting Station with Soul Conduit :)
And did you spell power station right? Cause I'm not finding anything on it .-.
wow i meant power conduit
Oh haha XD

Im not sure that melira works with phyrexian unlife the way you are meaning it to. the way I see it, the creatures don't gain infect, its just all damage that is dealt to you is dealt as if it was infect, as in a replacement effect. see where im coming from? but im not sure.
the way i see it its just a way to last a little longuer before you get your combo out
http://blogs.magicjudges.org/rulestips/2011/06/how-phyrexian-unlife-works/ That article explains how Phyrexian Unlife plus Melira keeps you from losing the game :)
Yeah, Melira literally says "You can't get poison counters." That seems pretty incontrovertible. I agree though that her other static effect (by itself) wouldn't prevent poison counters that are a result of Phyrexian Unlife.

I made my own version of this a little while ago, however I used Reverse the Sands and Repay in Kind, you may want to consider those, and to get your full use out of Melira you can add Death's Shadow (also works well with unlike! - I know it is black but one mana so it doesn't require a lot of black mana) and Etched Monstrosity. http://www.mtgvault.com/willbell/decks/unlife/
*unlike is supposed to be unlife, I changed that in autocorrect more than once and it still changed back >:(
I see I see, i'll check into them :)
I would run Repay in Kind if it wasn't black :/
Oh yes, I didn't think of that. :/
Just seems hard to splash black in this deck anyways XD
alpha authority on melira is a thing and should be taken seriously haha especially after you rancor her and beast master ascension kicks in
Good synergy! Why not green suns zenith. This deck needs melira down to work. And also take a look enlightened and idyllic tutor. You need to find both of the cards to make this work
I already have a semi-search engine for melira
