This deck plays really similar to second breakfast so its a good modern replacement for it :)

Pyrite Spellbomb
Correct me if I'm wrong... but you can only use Pyrite Spellbomb's ability once because the cost is R, sac.
the deck uses recursion to bring it back multiple times. this is an iteration of a deck called "second Breakfast" that won a Modern tourney last year before Second Sunrise (which does the same thing as Faith's Reward, for (1) cheaper) was banned for being the engine of a combo deck that took WAY too much time to execute.
Alright cool. I read up on it and it took me a bit to understand. Neat.
Yea most people don't understand how it works until you really watch it play xD
second sunrise is a must in this deck along with Faith's reward. I've faced a deck of this kind once and this is truly a tournament deck where you can win at like turn 3 or 4 easily. If i may, 4 lotus bloom is so great in this kind of deck.
second sunrise is banned.
only in modern, still legal in vintage and legacy. i don't see anywhere stating that this deck is modern only.
I see it written in the description and tag.
This deck is an adaptation of second breakfast that way it can be modern legal because second breakfast in legacy and vintage is too weak.
its actually too weak in Modern without second sunrise. the draws arent as smooth with only Faith's Reward. thats why they didnt ban both. the deck still works, but its super inconsistent.
Well with the combo of Bloom Tender and Freed from the Real, you can make infinite mana and use all your draw abilities to dig for a faith's reward to continue the combo and win :)
I know the it works, im just saying that its pretty inconsistent. Wizards doesnt try to kill decks, they just try to drop the power level when they ban something, and typically that means removing the most consistent piece of the puzzle.
This deck is pretty consistent from what I've tested so far. 6 total for both Freed and Tender so I'm definitely going to have it 1/6 of the times. if I mulligan then that's another 1/6 chance. It's all chance with combos and this is as consistent as it will be in modern now
