There isn't another card like goblin guide, but I think you're talking about wayward beast and even though they look similar guide's counterbalance is much weaker making it a better card

You only need 2 mana at most to play the cards for this deck and wayward guide gives you land drops if you never hit your second land. You just have to maneuver your plays differently.
Yes but it's not a similair card, the only thing the same is that they are 1 mana 2/2 with haste
Thats the only part that's relevant in a burn deck. Woosh. Also both have "guide" in the name.
SPLOOGE:I've been spending a lot of time with decks like these, and while I've only got an issue about WHEN guidebeast are cast, I do have a lot of trouble with you having 3 shard volley too many. You should always have just 1 shard volley to cast as the final kill, that way you won't miss the land you sacrifice.Playing both 4 guidebeast and 4 shard volley won't be good with just 18 lands. Also, relic of progenitus is better than soul-guide lantern because it can be used against surgical extraction. The current abuse of the lantern is a bandwaggon effect because people see it used in a lot of designs with lurrus as a companion. The lantern beats the relic if you have lurrus. In all other aspects relic is better.
This is fair. I saw a few league lists with this exact build so it was mostly a copy / paste :)
If it was arena, then the mana might work due to the draw algorithm avoiding mulligans.
Arena doesn’t play modern
I'm reading up on the format.I'm seeing enough videos to actually try to build something.
Historic or standard?
I'm not able to distinguish between them yet :)I just look up arena legal sets and then build from there while remembering as many cards as I can that I see in the videos.
Are all the cards standard legal?
I look to the right and have to say no.Does that make it historic ?
Yes it does, unless it's draft, but you can tell that by it being one set only
