That card can also work in some scenarios for sure. It's only a temporary fix to the problem compared to a permanent fix.

Mostly depends on your local meta for the sideboard. Show and Tell can just beat you most of the time so its great insurance. Also Sneak Attack / Show and Tell is the 6th most played deck in the format.
Trueeee rip monke
since we are two colors its pretty easy to splash the support lands that are colorless, it shouldn't really intervene with you're color gameplan. Just extra hits for the decks gimmick. :) I really like the prison version for a heavy Nahiri combo decklist. This one runs it as an out since its more controlling than most lists.
Pyre would be solid in a zombie's list. Especially since they can reoccur from the graveyard and typically have good SAC effects! Probably 2-3 copies should work fine!
Yea unfortunately 5 mana is pretty steep for this style of deck. :(
It's experimental for sure but i do like have the consistency on marit lage's slumber since its our main win con for this deck. :)
Pyre is more repeatable so it continues to be a problem each turn. And it would need to be tested for Shadowsage and Elderfang
She will find a true home eventually. She is just a Blue Tireless tracker after all.
And you totally can. Doesn't hurt to!
It's just a weird position overall for this deck based off of the meta. It does have a pretty good Shadows matchup and has decent matchups against Uro so it's been solid enough considering its gameplan.
Def fun for the person piloting. Not for the opponent wrenching in their chair from lack of gameplay on their part. xD
for sure my guy!
Pia and Kiran's second ability is just butter on the bread. The Hoarding Dragon doesn't apply enough pressure on its own merit and relies more on other factors to enable its ability to work more efficiently. You could build a different shell around that dragon and dwarves instead to be more aggro based.
They may be slow and I don't think there is any good reason to splash into other colors rn until either the snow mana base gets better or there is inherently a much better snow card that is pushed to see play. Stormbreath Dragon is a better finisher overall and applies more pressure that needs to be answered fast. Both are cute but not really fit for this style of deck.
It’s not bad but just preferred for the deck. Mostly comes down to build preference :)
I decided to build this one first because it’s dummy cheap. There is a Grixis variant that runs wishclaw talisman. These deck does really need twiddle though instead of noxious revival. We run past in flames for the reason of more targets in the graveyard.
This is fair. I saw a few league lists with this exact build so it was mostly a copy / paste :)
Thats the only part that's relevant in a burn deck. Woosh. Also both have "guide" in the name.
You only need 2 mana at most to play the cards for this deck and wayward guide gives you land drops if you never hit your second land. You just have to maneuver your plays differently.
