Hi, I have been running a mill deck pretty similar to yours here. In my opinion you are running way to much creatures. Some of them sure are fun, but they come late. I'd rather focus on milling. Therefor I learned to love sphinx's tutelage. If you opponent is monocolored it's a huge blowout, if not, it's still good and there is a combo with painter's servant which makes all cards the same colors. Also Hedron Crab is a great mill creature I have to recommend here, although i dont play it myself. If you somehow can afford Glimpse the Unthinkable, go for it!So here is my decklist for some inspiration:http://www.mtgvault.com/splinter/decks/budget-mill/

Shaman is overrated :p
For sideboard i guess you should at least run 1 melira against infect. You may can cut all the burretons, maybe one kataki and the dismember and add up to 3 lead the stampede to the sideboard if you play against heavy board wipes often.
Solid build! Have you tried to cut dwynens elite over visionary? The card draw may be relevant, especially if you dont run lead the stampede to refill your hand.
sweet little burn deck you have here! +1keep going
True, its neither midrange nor control. In case of 24 lands and only 2 colonnades id say go for midrange. If so, id play 4 geist of saint traft. Also i think narset is bad, you cant use the rebounds at instant speed, if you want to play a walker i would suggest the boros ajani with a built in lightning helix. If you need some more inspiration, check my site, i do have a uwr midrange list (not finished) running mantis rider and lightning angel instead of geist.
i'm stoked +1
Snapcaster is their best friend, the deck really leaped forward as i tested it the first time. 2 should be enough in my opinion. Maybe its a good time to buy them now, it spiked in price resently but seems to be dropping again at the moment. Still its a darn expensive card
i would have done the same if i had an expedition ;-)
sure river of tears is a great land, i simply dont have it yet and im used to this mana base now.. somehow i wanted to cut one ssp because its body is not that amazing and sometimes it feels like a dead card if you dont have your bitterblossom active. vendillion clique on the other hand is a clock if not answered, but often dies instantly, so having 3 of them works fine for me.But 4ssp and 2vc also works fine i guess
Sweet deck! +1Can't stand standard prices
mist intruder could work, flying, ingest for two mana pretty much guarantees exiled cards
looks sweet so far! Manabase is not finished i guess ;-)
btw there is a modern uwr control list on the hot page right now, you should check it out
best of the best cards, no need to unlove it... seems like a netdeck from 2013...i played quite the same list, but i had 1 supreme verdict main and 3 mana leak, 2 spell snare, and only 2 path and 2 remand.
i like your deck, but there are some suggestions i have:without testing your list, i think there are too many legendary creatures and maybe too many creatures in general for a control deck.# i think i'd go for just 1 jace and 2 grandmasters, so you can make sure your hand is not filled with creatures you dont need.you just need to clear the path for geist of saint traft with your burn spells and you have colonnade if that's not enough.# 3 electrolyze (more burn, more carddraw), 2 cryptic command and only 1 ojutais command (it really is not as good as cryptic)# reconfigure your counterspells: 3 mana leak was allways a good choice for me. if you run 2 they may come too late and your opponent has the lands to pay for it (you have 3 paths as well... ), also i prefere 2 spell snare because it hits soo many targets in modern# path is nice but you don't want to give your opponents lands for free, especially when you run 2 ghost quarter as well.i may be wrong on this, but with more counter and all the burn spells there is no need for more than two paths.exquisite firecraft is sweet, maybe not worth it but soo fun, keep that!for sideboard, i don't know about your meta so i wont suggest anything. detentions sphere may be a nice catch all card.
Take a look at magic origins spoiler, so many great elves! Try to get some if we draft next timt
no i think you need black for the removals and the powerfull multicolor cards
Its called grindclock, sorry for missspelling
In a casual deck like this i think traumatize is the coolest card to play. I would keep at least one, even when its at high cost. Nephalia drownyard is a nice utility land. Good suggestion.
