Deck Description

Just a test on a concept I have about the new shrines. Comments welcome :)

Okay so the main point is to get really any one of the shrines out and proliferate it up like crazy. Win conditions are based on Shrine of Burning Rage getting big enough for a huge direct hit, or getting out a ton of 1/1s with Shrine of Loyal Legions and getting either Elesh Norn or Jor Kadeen out and pounding the opponent to death with big ol' creatures and Concussive Bolt.

Oh and at this point, I'm really conflicted on what would make the deck better / more effective so the sideboard is full of really nice additions that I'm currently conflicted on, but am not sure if I should make room for or not. AKA: I would really appreciate any help on what direction to take XD

Deck discussion for New Shrines

I like the idea, and having all the shrines is pretty cool. I would suggest maybe some more proliferate cards. That inexorable tide will be hard to get out early on, and contagion engine is also hard to get out. I would maybe keep those, but throw in 2 or 3 contagion clasps, and maybe a steady progress or two. As for cards to take out for those......that is the hard part, your deck is pretty tight on switching around without affecting the theme or your early defenses. Maybe 1 less chalice, or 1 or 2 less memnites/thopters. Tough decisions though, good build.

In theory, I'm hoping that the Chalices, Mox Opals, and Shrine of Boundless Growth will help me get the Engines and Tides out relatively fast, but you're totally right about potentially needing more proliferate. I think I'm going to playtest this for a little while and see what happends, but I expect that I might drop a Mountain and a Plains for 2 Steady Progress. Thanks for the input, I will definitely keep the proliferation problem in mind :)

Yeah last night I playtested a slight variation on this deck. Used Volt Shocks and red shrine to kill one guy, an Everlfowing and Boundless Shrine to fireball another guy, and milled another guy with a huge grindclokc all in one game with this baby.
