First of all, this is officially my 100th deck so I'd like to thank everyone who's helped me learn a ton about MTG and deck-building in a casual, fun environment conducive to learning well :D Now I thought I'd go ahead and try to make a deck I'd been considering for a while now, but have been continuously delaying. Now I've seen decks that essentially freeze your opponent before, but my goal here is to make a deck that doesn't allow your opponent to win no matter what they do, and essentially stalls them to death. To be honest, Im not convinced that this deck would work how I want it to at all, but I guess that's what concept decks are. Essentially the goal is to get a ton of big walls out fast and then use Overgrown Battlement to drop some indestructible Platinum creatures out, Ascetism, and Leyline of Sanctity. At this point, Words of Worship will give you a steady stream of life AND stop you from milling yourself as your opponent draws himself to death over the next 50+ turns. Any ideas on how to make this work are graciously accepted :D As always, comments welcome :)

try 22 lands, and maybe some duals (razorverge thicket) also, to help you find overwrown battlement, get lead the stampede. you can lose stalwart shield-bearers, and get wall of omens, which is the best defender in standard.

I'm not sure how you're ever going to get RID of platinum angel if you ever have some win conditions met, but this deck certainly made me think and laugh! I like the idea of "Ok, but you don't win either"
Oh, sidethought: Darksteel Reactor may as well make an appearance in your deck. It might just be the most reliable way you've got to win assuming nothing happens for a good amount of turns.
