Thanks... I'm used to writing these things out and I forgot to change it to the formal designation. :)
If what i think im seeing is a control deck, its very well done, the idea of making your cards cost less and opponents cost more is a great concept. I think what you should do is make this deck more than 60 to give you more spells to play for less, and add sphere of safety or blind obedience to really hinder your opponent,
Oddly enough, in it's current form it's something like a delayed beatdown. I stopped playing around the odyssey block, and I'm returning to find a lot of interesting new cards available. I appreciate your compliment as I kinda just threw this together in a couple of hours. I put it Augustin IV mostly just to speed the deck up, as it wasn't performing consistently enough through several dozen drawn hands. I think I may make a second build around your suggestion though, as I would probably have to rework this a lot to make it more control :) .
I see that now that you say that. And now that i know that card exists it just made my U/W exalted deck better so thank you for that. And good plan, you can do some really silly stuff with sphere of safety, and blind obedience just makes it worse
What about Sovereigns of Lost Alara? Seems pretty sweet with the godhead and Grand Arbiter to make 'm cheaper.
I'm a little scared by the price, but it seems so potentially powerful that I just have to try it out. I'll try it and see how it works. :)
