Deck Description

Steal all the permanents! After all, your opponents can't win if they have nothing on the table.

How to Play

If you looked at my So Much Mana deck, this basically utilizes that deck's infinite mana combo to activate Memnarch's second ability an infinite number of times, allowing you to steal everyone's permanents and effectively "wiping" everyone else's board.

Putting out an Isochron Scepter imprinted with Dramatic Reversal and putting out a Basalt Monolith, a Thran Dynamo, or a Dreamstone Hedron is key to fueling the infinite mana combo. In addition to this, you can either have a Mycosynth Lattice out or you can choose to activate Memnarch's first ability an infinite number of times as well. Either way, Padeem should be out to help protect your lovely artifacts so someone (especially) can't bounce Memnarch or one of the infinite mana combo pieces. If someone tries to bounce Padeem, simply turn him into an artifact using Memnarch (this is not necessary if Mycosynth Lattice is out) Master Transmuter can be used to turn some of the zero-drop artifacts into a Memnarch or a Mycosynth Lattice (or another Master Transmuter)

Deck discussion for Your Permanents are MINE

Am I missing something?

Doesn't your infinite mana combo only produce colorless mana (and the only mana conversion I'm seeing is the 2 Prophetic Prism which also needs to tap to do it...).

This leads to the problem that both of Memnarch's abilities require blue mana.

Sorry if I missed something obvious.

Mycosynth Lattice makes all mana produced able to spend as if it were any color.

The Isochron Scepter imprinted with Dramatic Reversal untaps everything you control that is not a land, which includes the Isochron Scepter and the Prophetic Prism.

I love Memnarch, he is one of my favorite cards of all time, he represents everything I want to do with Magic, and my Commander deck with him is my baby.

But I don't see how this could be consistent in Legacy. Even if you replaced Cancel with a good card like Force of Will.

I somewhat see where you are going with Force of Will, but $60+ a piece is crazy. However, I would say that the deck is somewhat inconsistent in all formats, as pulling off the infinite mana combo is somewhat unlikely.

Yeah, I hate how expensive they are, I'm just thinking about improvements if you actually wanted to use it. But that is why I put my Memnarch in Commander, with the slower pace and so many free tutors you can assemble a win much more consistently.
