Deck Description

Suffocate your opponents with Smokestack by returning your creatures to the battlefield after sacrificing them. Throw Mayhem Devil into the mix to further harness this raw power.

How to Play

Smokestack isn't needed for this deck to win, but it usually guarantees you one. As such, if you decide not to run Smokestack, you may as well take out Mayhem Devil. However, if you do run Smokestack, there are several things to consider:
> Grafdigger's Cage and other cards like it will shut you down. Either use Shenanigans or crank up Smokestack to solve this issue.
> Control and artifact hate will remove Smokestack from the equation. Cast Smokestack sparingly, and always keep one in your hand just in case.
> Dispossess and other cards like it will also remove Smokestack from the equation. Anticipate this and formulate a comeback.
> Consider running Nether Shadow instead of Nether Traitor if budget is a concern.

Once Smokestack hits the field, start cranking it up (but not too much, as you may inadvertently wipe your field as well) so your opponents start losing their stuff. As you do this, make sure that you can return your creatures to the battlefield, as graveyard exile is your worst enemy. Once your opponents have an empty field, start knocking them out to secure victory.
