Creatures (4)

Instants (8)

Artifacts (12)

Enchantments (4)

Sideboard (0 cards)

No sideboard found.

The owner of this deck hasn't added a sideboard, they probably should...

Submit a list of cards below to bulk import them all into your sideboard. Post one card per line using a format like "4x Birds of Paradise" or "1 Blaze", you can even enter just the card name by itself like "Wrath of God" for single cards.

Deck Description

I'll be building a mill deck in october. This list is subject to change when Innistrad comes out.

The goal is a mono blue mill deck.

Notes. Jace's erasure and Blue Sun Zenith are the win conditions. Either by drawing myself out to force a mill with the erasure or a straight up old school stroke of genius style blast to an opponents library.

Both spellskite and jace memory adept would be good inclusions in this deck but are outside of my budget. The caged suns and semblance anvils are relatively easy to trade for, I've got most of those for sure.

the best theoretical target for mitotic manipulation would be caged sun. Tapping my lands for triple the normal cost is bound to get obscene very quickly. Azure mage is another possibility for mass draw in such cases.

Tezzerets gambit and tumble magnet are there to hopefully get a hold on at least some creatures. Semblance Anvil hopefully makes artifacts cheaper.

Mana Leak is still the best counter in standard and feels like an auto include. I'd like to find room for vapor snag.

other notes: Goblins or similarly aggressive decks are probably going to eat this alive.

Deck discussion for Mill Theory

This deck is a decent idea and I see were you are going with the Jace's Erasure being triggered everytime you draw using all the cards with that ability but it doesnt have a strong enough mill base to use milling as a win condition. This causes the deck to almost never win. Just some constructive critism and keep going with the idea of using Jace's Erasure because it can be a great addition to a more average mill deck.

Gracefull Adept and Jin-Gitaxias, Core Augur would make this deck killer I would recomend adding those especially with the high mana generation that this deck has you would be able to pay for the Jin-Gitaxias, Core Augur. Sorry if I came out harsh in the first comment im just trying to help. But seriously Gracefull Adept and Jin-Gitaxias.
