The owner of this deck hasn't added a sideboard, they probably should...
Start typing a card name and use the auto-complete feature to quickly select the card you're trying to add. Enter a quantity and add that card to your sideboard!
Submit a list of cards below to bulk import them all into your sideboard. Post one card per line using a format like "4x Birds of Paradise" or "1 Blaze", you can even enter just the card name by itself like "Wrath of God" for single cards.
I built this deck when m13 came out, mainly for the fact that i pulled 4 vampire nighthawks. Comments on how to improve the deck would be greatly appreciated.

I like this deck. It's a decent start to a vampire deck. I would, however, recommend a few tweaks... The killing waves don't help you at all, they hinder a deck like this as it is an aggro deck. Also, you have too many creature control destroy cards.. it might be more handy to run a more aggressively creature base deck and sideboard all but 6 of them. This is what I run, and I find that it works extremely well against most decks... Creatures: 4x Stromkirk Noble 4x Child of Night 4x Vampire Interloper 2x Blood Artist 4x Vampire Nighthawk 4x Stromkirk Captain 4x Vampire Nocturnus 2x Bloodline Keeper 2x Olivia Voldaren Lands 4x Dragonskull Summit 4x Cavern of Souls 4x Blackcleave Cliffs 4x Evolving Wilds 6x Swamps 2x Mountains Spells 4x Go for the Throat 2x Tragic Slip Side Board 4x Dismember 4x Doomblade 4x Murder 2x tragic slip 1x Lilliana of the Veil Different situations call for different usages from these cards. Lilliana is fun, but theres no need for her in the main deck. When someone uses the likes of Wild Guesses and Faithless Looting, however, she can be quit the pain in the ass. Obviously doom blades sub out go for the throats for artifact decks, murders for artifact/black decks (I actually came across one) and if you feel like you need more control. Tragic slips work well against morbid/birthing pod decks or decks with lots of 1 toughness creatures. Dismember works exceptionally well when dealing with lack of mana, which early in the game you should be spending almost all of your mana each turn. In addition, life link gets back the health you would pay to use them. With m13 bringing back Sign in Blood, however, I've been contemplating to throw some of them in there in place of these dismembers...

Here is a Standard Vamp deck that I threw together. Utilizing Vamps and +1/+1 counters with proliferate. Come Oct 15. proliferate will all be at an end but until then it is great for this deck. Use Undying Evil on the Memnites to sacrifice to the Throne of Geth. Markov Blademaster has D-Strike so there is two +1/+1 counters and if Rakish is in play, there is another. Olivia and Pillars can handle some small creatures while Go For The Throat takes out the tougher ones. Semblance Anvil might get the vamps out a little quicker but could be replaced with something more efficient IMO. // Lands 8 Swamp 3 Cavern of Souls 6 Mountain 3 Dragonskull Summit // Creatures 3 Memnite 3 Vampire Nighthawk 3 Bloodline Keeper/Lord of Lineage 3 Markov Blademaster 4 Stromkirk Captain 4 Olivia Voldaren 4 Rakish Heir // Spells 3 Throne of Geth 3 Undying Evil 3 Semblance Anvil 3 Go for the Throat 4 Pillar of Flame kd1215, you have a great deck there. Gave me some inspirations for this deck and others.

Overall, I would say it is a solid deck but I have a few suggestions for you. Remove the following cards completely from the deck: Killing Wave Doom Blade Why do I say this? You're playing a Vampire Aggro deck. You want your cards to remain upon the field and to have synergy with one another, for Stromkirk Captain to buff everyone alongside Vampire Nocturnus Killing Wave effects all players, not a target. This means your own creatures will be effected and you will have to sacrifice life in order to keep them alive. Now, yes, you do have life link and due to this you may have an advantage in life, late game. Yet, there are very few situations where there are not better removal spells at your disposal. The main use of Killing Wave, that I have seen, is to remove Avacyn, Baneslayer Angel, and other Indestructible/Pro cards. You have Olivia for creatures, just ping them on their turn and convert them before the start of your upkeep. You not only make them lose the creature but receive its benefits. And for what you can't afford to ping? Removal. Sever the Bloodline, Thunderous Wrath, Go for the Throat, or even Murder. Aside from removing Killing Wave, I would recommend you trim your creatures down and try to go for the trinity. It allows you to have the draw rate upon your cards while giving you additional room for expansion. Depending on what your budget is like, I could happily provide more suggestions, but this is about it for now.
Well budget wouldnt be a probelm depending on what it is as well when you say trinity what card are you refering to i have only been since a little after the avacyn release.
Trinity is a term I've seen thrown about to refer to simply using three of each creature or spell within a deck rather than four. Presuming a minimum of 20 lands, you have the following choices at the minimum deck size of 60. 40/4 = 10 Sets of Four 40/3 = 13 Sets of Three with one spare. This spare can be assigned to crucial cards or 1 mana drops. If budget is not a problem, however, I would recommend the following: 4x Dragonskull Summit 16x Swamp 4x Mountain --- 3x Stromkirk Noble 3x Typhoid Rats 3x Child of Night/Vampire Interloper 3x Vampire Nighthawk 3x Stromkirk Captain 3x Bloodline Keeper 2x Vampire Nocturnus 2x Olivia Voldaren --- 3x Bonfire of the Damned 3x Tragic Slip 3x Thunderous Wrath 3x Pillar of Flame 3x Murder --- 3x Elixir of Immortality
Mind you, this is a HIGHLY expensive deck. It is actually the idealized version of my own and if I had the funding, I would be using it for local tournaments. Since I am constructing my own deck for continued tournament play, I am not personally using (and thus did not recommend) any use of the Scars of Mirrodin block or the use of M12 cards not being reprinted.
Thanks for the ideas I'm wrestling with my own vamp deck. I love the ideas that everyone has posted on here as well. Thanks guys!
Blade of the blood chief?
Not standard.
