Deck discussion for ug hydra control

I'm not 100% sure what jace, memory adept is doing in here, and i think that the other garruk migh see some play here too.

also, forests and islands but no "misty rainforest?"

maybe you should also look into whispersilk cloak. it makes your primordial hydra unblockable, which is well, basically awesome. :)

check out preordain too, and 100% definitely into the roil. also, beast within isn't a bad choice.

also, if you happen to be like me and not exactly able to afford 4x primeval titans for a testing deck, not to mention the new plainswalkers, look into green sun + phyrexian metamorph + overgrown battlements. you'll get some crazy ramp out of that! :D

It's an interesting approach to making a hydra deck, and I like it. I'm not to fond of the planeswalkers in this deck though, neither of them help with the hydra aspect. I would either put in creature search if your aiming fo more green or unsummon if your going for blue. Yous should see my hydra deck.

well i thought about preordain but i like ponder better and i had metamorph in first build but seemed inconsistent however i do like your deck haha and i left misty out cause of the expense for it so close to being turned over im glad you like it though and both planes walkers are for draw abilities to pick the steam up if late game comes i apperciate all the input and ill "ponder" over all the ideas for it lol

I really like the deck, and I know the walkers are in there for draw... But, how about trading garruk for Jace's archivist? Sounds a little odd, but constant draw, upsetting their hand constantly, and your garruk can become useless pretty easilly if your hydras start to be too big. ( might mill yourself. :p ) but I like it and after the release tomorrow I'll give it a try hopefully and let you know how that mod works out.

Plus you can vapor snag to ping their fattie or just something you don't like, and archive him to the grave yard. XD

The deck play tested nicely after a couple changes. (Though I probably just like more control than you do.)

-2 Archive Traps to SB / MB +2 Jace's Archivist
-2 Lanowar Elves / +2 Dissipation Field (Droping that on turn 3 effective haults any aggro decks early, especially any pesky infect decks.)

Other than that, super fun deck, love playing it. Can't wait to annoy my buddies with it. ;)
