I picked up some Forgotten Realms cards recently and wanted to try some of them out. There are a lot of good cards in the set.
The point behind this deck isn't the creatures. It's the building up of the creatures. And, when a creature dies, a lot of the equipment is still there, so the next creature can just jump in and take its place. The cleric class will give +1/+1 counters when you gain life. Also, the Teleportation Circle will bounce creatures every turn. Doing so with the Dawnbreaker Cleric will give you life (and more +1 counters) or get rid of multiple enchantments. Bouncing the Moon-Blessed Clerics will let you get more Cleric Classes or Teleportation Circles. The Corpsejack Menaces probably seem out of place, but there are quite a few different sources out there to get the mana needed to cast them. Counting the Evolving Wilds and Minimus Containments gives you ten sources for both black and green mana. The Kjeldoran Outposts will give you creatures who can then use the equipment that is lying around. The Guardians of Faith and Wraths of God are there in case you run up against swarm decks.
