The Deck's purpose is to destroy your opponent's Lands and hence mana while hoarding and ramping up your own. Ultimately using Devil's Play, most likely / effectively in conjunction with Increasing Vengeance, to win. That being said, between your Tyrants and Slimes, your opponent's death is yet inevitable.
Quickest win i've personally experienced: The numbers in () represent playable mana.
When (-) is included, it represents loss / use of playable mana._________.
T1: play Land (1) --> tap (-1), play Arbor Elf (0) --> (2)
T2: play Land (3) --> tap (-2), play Farseek (1) --> grab Stomping Ground --> [Arbor Elf attacks for 1] --> (4)
T3: play Land (5) --> tap (-1), play Arbor Elf (4) --> tap (-2), play Burning-Tree Emissary(4) --> tap (-4), play Demolish (0) --> (6)
T4: play Land (7) --> tap (-2), play Farseek (5) --> grab Stomping Ground --> tap (-5), play Conjurer's Closet --> [Arbor Elf and Burning-Tree Emissary attack for 3] --> (8) --> exile Burning-Tree Emissary
T5: Burning-Tree Emissary returns (10) --> play Land (11) --> tap (-9), play Devil's Play where X = 8, (2) --> tap (-2), play Increasing Vengeance (0), [combo for 16 damage].
Fin.
Winning in 5 turns is, as you can see, quite possible.
Deathrite Shaman was included mainly for this purpose also, since you'll be destroying your enemies Lands as often as multiplying your own, but was removed since it costs waaaay to fucking much $ wise.
It should be said though that winning like this is rare, my opponent had a bad mana draw, and I destroyed his second Land of the game with the Demolish. This is especially true against against aggro decks, though, had another Devil's Play come up before turn 3 this win would still be possible.
Mana Locking your opponent/s is fun, and in this deck it's primary purpose is to buy you enough time to gain the necessary mana for a few big Devil hits. But that, my dear friends, this Deck does rather well. Getting 7 mana is a non-issue also, and Tyrant of Discord is entirely capable of sowing.... discord.
Kessig Wolf Run can give your Acidic Slime and Tyrant's some decent damage, on the off chance it comes up, considering the mana this deck leaves at your disposal.
With Faithless Looting helping you mill and discard when needed, the cards you want will be at hand before long. Then you can rain fire upon your enemies while they cower behind their meagre and ever diminishing pool of mana.
-----------------Sideboard-----------------
The sideboard here is primarily for beefing up your defences, useful against aggro or token heavy decks, and / or increasing your ability to Mana Lock your opponent.
That's where Survey the Wreckage comes in, it's a viable replacement for, or addition to, Demolish if you feel the need, as is Craterize.
(I most often replace Faithless Looting with Survey of the Wreckage).
Ancient Grudge is here because I fucking hate artefacts, you know.... When i'm not using them.
