The owner of this deck hasn't added a sideboard, they probably should...

Submit a list of cards below to bulk import them all into your sideboard. Post one card per line using a format like "4x Birds of Paradise" or "1 Blaze", you can even enter just the card name by itself like "Wrath of God" for single cards.

How to Play

Punish your opponent for daring to play creatures using (Glaring Spotlight, when / if needed, + unblockable and hexproof on your creatures is nice) Murder, Death Wind, Bone Splinters and Victim of Night. Don't over use them though, calm the storm (baiting your opponent), using them sparingly / when needed. Stay alive and bide your time.

Remember, the purpose of this deck is to hassle your opponent with Duress and Appetite for Brains as well, to await the right time to strike with Killing Wave and then flood in creatures. There's a lot of cheap instants and sorceries to do this with. You should tread carefully, ensuring always to have 1 or 2 creatures (2 if you have a Bone Splinters handy) on the field consistently damaging / destroying your opponents creatures (Reaper helps with this a little as well) or you're own (when a Killing Wave is ready to use) so that when you get the right cards for a big strike you can do it quickly and effectively, implementing as much damage as possible so that you need not do it again. To do this use Demonic Rising, Skirsdag and Vile Rebirth, which together can enable you to build a small but powerful army quickly when you happen to catch your opponent out with no creatures, which will be happening to him a lot.

It's a creature control deck really. Allowing you to do consistent damage and control the flow of creature damage across the board.

Grafdigger's Cage adds a little graveyard control just incase.
Harvester of Souls is deadly, and I like drawing cards.
Liliana's ultimate is excellent and plausible (though as always, still difficult) get with this deck. You'll also like beefing up you creatures during an opening with her -3.

71 cards: People could argue this is counter productive, but in this all black deck, with many cards that form similar (though still individual) purposes, getting the cards you need is still as smooth affair.

Cavern of Souls would go far in this deck, but as always the $$.

Obviously against blue control decks this deck will mostly fall short, but it'll solve your green/red, white/red aggro easily enough; or any deck that relies on creatures to win.
