Deck Description

I faced a guy with a mill deck. It really irritated me, so it seemed fun to use! This deck does not get victories yet. It will be a work in progress. Feel free to make suggestions!

How to Play

Block and mill. Plain and simple. Always save extra mana for cards such as Millstone or Doorkeeper. Keep Defenders on the field...if possible. If there's a flyer, use Mindeye Drake or Messenger Drake.

Deck discussion for Mono-Blue - Mill

try adding more cards in there that have three of the greatest words in magic "draw a card" the more you draw the wider variety of spells you can cast over a shorter period of time.

Most certainly: Once I obtain Jace's Eraser. Opportunity, Divination, and use of Jace's -7 effect to draw 20 for me! Combo that with Jace's Eraser and then discard 13 (or more) and use Psychic Spiral to mill them for at least 13 more.

I appreciate your feedback.

no problem.. but... opportunity seems too expensive, 6 mana for 4 cards? youre wanting to use Jace's erasure? so this deck is just for casual play? if so you could instead use 1 cost draw cards like serum visions, shared discovery, preordain, or since this is a mill deck, visions of beyond could work well. gitaxian probe could give you the advantage over your opponent that you need. see their hand, draw a card. But as with any deck. the modifications that are made are solely up to the creator. Im looking to see how this deck progresses. most mill decks i see are the same black/blue combination of glimpse the unthinkable and snapcaster mage

This is just a casual play deck. And yes, I'm positive I want Jace's Eraser. Each time I draw, you discard. I draw 10, you lose 10.

yeah... i just re read my comment. that came out wrong. i was meaning that since you wanted jase's erasure, this is a casual deck? because so far its legal in standard. jace's erasure is not. i had to ask, lol

Ah, no problem.

Well, you've seen the point of this deck. Are you sure I should include drawing?

yeah, card draw will help you cycle through your deck and get to the cards you want/need at a quicker pace. i had a guy convince me of this not too long ago. although in that instance it was about losing a bit of life and drawing cards. his logic is this: if you have 8 cards in there that you could do without and you replace them with filler(card draw) you've turned that deck from a 60 card deck to a 52 card deck. and how much easier is it to get the cards you need when its that much thinner?

Curse of the Bloody Tome

I have three of them and they just make milling the opponent so much easier.
