Mmm... neat combo with Hell's Caretaker, Adarkar Valkyries and buried alive. You're going to need a bit of search power to pull that off though, Demonic tutor is a good one. Another issue is that this deck's mana curve is way steep, gotta have a bit of acceleration in there, maybe a few dark rituals for starters. Also, this deck is going to be hard to pull off with three colors. I'd suggest getting rid of red all together and putting some more angels in there, here's a few suggestions: Akroma Angel of Wrath, Blinding Angel, Desolation Angel, Iona Shield of Emeria, Reya Dawnbringer, and, of course, Platinum Angel. One last thing, white has so much cheap creature removal, a lot better than Mark of the Oni or Yoke of the Damned, why not add some Path to Exiles or Swords to Plowshares?

Actually made this for the deck making challenge from 3/30/10 for fun. If things worked perfectly... Turn 1: Dual Land Turn 2: Sunken Ruins, Dark ritual with the Dual Land, pump 1 black into Sunken Ruins to make 2 blue for Braids, Conjurer Adept Turn 3: Progenitus...
Same advice for all dragon decks, get a set of sneak attacks and gambles, it just makes things go so much faster.
Where's the Pariahs?
Muddle the Mixture might be nice since you can search for your dark confident or vampire hexmage with a transmute.
that's just beautiful. the only thing I can think of to make this better is to make it more consistent by making this deck blue / white and adding merchant scrolls / mystical tutors for pact searches and enlightened tutors / idyllic tutors for Hive mind searches, with path to exile / swords to plowshares for creature delay and boomerang / echoing truth for other delay. ... in fact, I think I might just build that in my folder...
Fabricate >.>
Looks like the weak link here is that Wurmcalling and Intruder Alarm are kinda hard to get out since you only have 4 in the deck which makes your combo inconsistent. Looks like what you need is to take out some of the fat like dawn's reflection, concordant cross roads, aura of dominion, maybe even magnus of the candelabra, Ivy elemental, and essence warden then and add in some draw power, delay, and search. I'd recommend stuff like Harmonize, Wall of Roots, Wall of Blossoms, Worldly Tutor and Sylvan Tutor.
mmm neat deck, your's doesn't depend on donate near as much. though this deck does have the advantage of being able to kill with one donate instead of multiple. I don't want to deal with the whole damage business, rather go straight in for the win condition.
that's why the mystical tutors and demonic tutors are there.
standard, ah, makes more sense now. In that case you've got a pretty tight ship.
When I hear green tokens all I can think of is earthcraft + squirrel nest. 4th Turn infinite tokens combo, could be 3rd turn if you accelerate by 1 on the first turn.
It's a waste to put white in there and just add to the mana complications. I'd add a few more counterspells and a few more pingers to just kill creatures instead of worrying about negating their combat damage. And instead of oblivion rings you can try a few Boomerangs or Wipe Aways and just counter them the next time around.
mmm totally agreed, however, fabricate and muddle... maybe something cheaper, like Enlightened Tutor.
Good call, did just that.
There's so many great one mana discards like Blackmail, Duress, Mind Peal, Ostrasize, and Thought Seize, any of those would give your deck a first turn boost. Follow that up with Hymn to Tourach on the second turn for random discards and then Hypnotic Spector on the third turn would make a great curve. It's going to be way too inconsistent for you to wait to draw a Megrim as a 1 in 15 chance so you might need some research cards like Demonic Tutor or black draw power like Dream Salvage. Oh, and Dark Ritual if you want some mana acceleration.
