Deck Description

Homebrew version of DragonStorm MonoRed

How to Play

Well, this deck has a few ways to win the match:

-First you can use mana ramp to get a Dragonstorm
-Or use Spinerock knoll hideaway (7dmg) to play a Dragonstorm or Grapeshot
-Also you can burn the enemy down with direct damage to the face with [[Lightning Bolt] + Abrade + Shock + Rift Bolt + Grapeshot
-Reverberate also serves for completing missing combo parts from ramping extra mana, to get extra storm copies or that final touch on a direct damage spell.

When selecting the dragons for the dragonstorm you can choose:

-1 Bogardan Hellkite for 5 dmg (or storm 4 Bogardan Hellkite for lethal dmg) or 1 Karrthus, Tyrant of Jund and 1 Bogardan Hellkite for 17 Damage

Deck discussion for Dragonstorm MonoRed

You don't need hunted dragons. Think about it you have to do 7 damage to get the spinerock knoll off plus the deck is cramed with burn. Seething Song and Hunted Dragon are no longer legal in standard, cut them!

I don't know if you are playing standard or not, but here's my take from a block player.
Like Joande said, cut the hunted dragons, and I'd add Rathi or Shivan dragons. Seething Song is still in block, so you can keep those. :)

Bladewing the Risen, Kilnmouth Dragon cut these and if you going to run extended run the hunted dragon and go red/blue like at worlds. If your going to run it in standard cut ignite memories and run pyromancers swath and cut Bladewing the Risen, Kilnmouth Dragon for 2 more grapeshot, also cut tarfire and 2 land for manamorphose

I would trade the Incinerate for Priest of Urabrask or Burning-Tree Emissary to up the jump off of storm but any free spells would work just make sure they are worth the deck space!!!

thx for the comment, btw incinerate goes well to reach the 7 damage needed for spinerock Knoll and with all the instants and mana accelerator the storms allways come with 4 copies minimum

i would say the "spinerock null" is good but let the 7 damage come naturally by using more creatures/ possibly more smaller dragons or creatures that can be used to make mana. they are usually good for both defense and offense but this is just me, your play style could be completely different so just do what works best for you and what lets you have the most fun. -good luck-

i like the rite of flame though i had been meaning to use that one in a couple decks but i couldnt remember what it was called so thank you!!

also if you can use more permanents such as "seal of fire" then you could add "Heartlash Cinder" for good damage just in case you really want that "spinerock null" to go off

maybe putting some creatures/smaller dragons it can work well holdin off during the early turns until u draw the combo.

btw i have played this deck many times and the direct damage is a viable way of ruining your oponentĀ“s day by killing all the creatures or to activate Spinerock. also keep in mind that the direct burns are cheep too so you can easily (in optimal conditions) play a dragonstorm for 5 or 6 copies

ps :rite of flame+ seething song =tons of red mana production

i agree with the mana ramp always helpful. by the way i went and playtested your deck with my own cards and you are correct with the burn i found it helpful i just couldnt keep cards in my hand very long but other than that it was great good job and good luck!! you have taught an old dog new tricks with the burn spells XD so thank you for the lesson

and another thing i love your picture XD that is the coolest game i have ever played but im a zerg player by blood
