Deck Description

So you know that joke...if a tree falls in the forest does it make a sound? Let me tell you. IT DOES.

Lets break down the main parts of this deck...

The King Cobra himself, Lotus Cobra Possible of some huge mana ramp for some early game beaters.

Knight of the Reliquary - Huge beater almost like a mini gofy in this deck but potential to become bigger

Avenger of Zenidkar Late game ender, if they dont have an answer for this its almost a scoop because of the massive token's he produces

Steppe Lynx he so cute. Becomes a beater early in the game

Ob Nixilis, the Fallen - The main card in this deck, along with Scapeshift so get that out, play scapeshift and usually thats game.

Rest of the cards are either mana fixing or some protection while i set up the pieces...now remember. Dont get lost in the woods!

Hmmm ... I like it! Searchlands ... piffle, who needs those? A three color deck ... who needs a fortune in dual lands? Deck search? More like land spam until Ob Nixilis or Avenger of Zendikar.

This deck is a blast! I see why you fell in love with it. Can I be the best man at your wedding?

how are you saccing 4 lands to get 6?

If you read Scapeshift, it says that you can only bring out the number of lands you sac'ed. So, if you sac 4 lands you can only scape shift with 4 lands. Think of it as "Sacrifice X lands. Search your library for X amount of lands and put them onto the battlefield tapped."

You can also run tectonic edge, Ghost Quarter, and encroaching wastes in sideboard for good land control, also Amulet of Vigor, Life from the Loam, Grazing Gladehart. Take out Night's whisper and throw in Explore, it's a nice cantrip for lotus, landfall, and keeping cards in hand.

meant to say get 4 lands not 6, either way they would still lose, sorry for the confusion ninja

makes sense.

I think he meant that 6 lands enter the battlefield on turn 4:
1-verdant
2-whatever verdant grabbed
3-6 the 4 lands you got from scapeshift = 18 points of life loss

Knight of the White Orchard in place of primeval titan? What was the green mana generating W/G Knight Card again?

EDIT: Steward of Valeron

Don't you dare find a way to play hedron crab in here.

Just some ideas:

Bloodghast
Groundswell
Khalni Heart Expedition
Rampaging Baloths
Soul Stair Expedition
Turntimber Basilisk

You know i did have bloodghast in the original build as i was making it, but double black may be a little hard to get right away...and yes even though he is landfall, not sure he fits what im trying to do...i think Lynx Steppe is an underrated beater in this deck

Khanli heart Expedition isn't half bad. Lynx Steppe is a wonderful beater - don't lose him!

you know you need 7 lands for scapeshift to deal damage?

0

this is not a valakut build, if you didnt know that.

0

then why do you want scapeshift? :/

demon can be destroyed/exiled/removed...

0

its just a different build, something not so "net deck" and Nixilis isnt the only win condition. Goyf can be removed to, yet people still have it as the primary win condition.

I'm afraid the RUG version is strictly better, Search for tomorrow is a 4 of must!

0

I dont disagree, obviously the RUG version is stronger and more control oriented

I too feel like this is a worse version of a Valakut build. its a neat idea, but It just doesnt feel competitive to me. Not meant to be insulting, I really like the deck, it looks super fun.
