I really like the deck. Reminds me of my real-life devour deck.
But I have some recommendations:
-Exchange Rite of Consumption to Essence Harvest.
-Would Soul's Fire have a place in this deck? It costs 1 more than Fling and its much better.

I do like Soul's Fire its great but fling = instant so if someone would try to doomblade thromok i could fling it quick

Also, say i fling Thromok or Thresh and somehow they prevent the damage and i have Kresh out, he gets their power and x2 if i have corpsejack out then fling then boom :)

You see... I think you need more blue in this deck.

What blue would you suggest? if i were to add any

Like the color blue. What did you think I was talking about?

haha i meant what kinda cards

0

Oh, yeah. I think a counterspell would be nice. Kind of like Delay. I like that one. Much better than Krenko's Command as a counterspell.

Blue is great for delay and stalling aka control based decks, but this is more like a Im going to blow the opponent up with 50+ damage and watch him stare blankly at me, krenkos and dragon fodder are used for thromok to devour and become stronger so therefore i can fling him, hope i cleared that up

Yeah, I get that, but if you stall long enough, eventually you will get a lot of tokens. I run a lot of decks like this. You can look at my deck list. It's really great.

I see your point but running 4 colors with only a few blue counterspells would take a way creatures/lands that will get my combo or creatures out quicker, i have decks with splashes of blue that i run for counters but only 2 color decks like that

I bet those two decks do the best. Blue also runs some pretty cool creatures. My favorite is Hedron Crab. I think dropping the green and running four Hedron Crab would be a good idea. Then you could mill cards while playing lands. That's a lot of card advantage.

http://www.mtgvault.com/alackofreason/decks/fish-aquarium-glub-glub/ These cards could help.

If i dropped green, my deck would be pointless, the all the cards that are essential are green, now i have seen decks based around Hedron Crab and they are effective, but this deck isn't made for that. Thank you for your ideas though!:)

Yes, yes, thank you for listening. But I have other suggestions.

Besides adding of blue/white cards i am all ears for suggestions to make this deck better while keeping the same idea:)

Ah, can I suggest cards that are blue AND some other color?

0

Like a color you use? Yes? Good?

0

I dont think i will add blue cards or white cards, stricly im keeping it green red and black

0

Yes, but what about blue/green split mana cards?

0
Posted 01 December 2013 at 02:53

If the GREEN card improves the purpose of this deck, yes

0
Posted 01 December 2013 at 02:56

Well, for those cards, the blue and green would be inseparable, yes?

0
Posted 01 December 2013 at 02:57

No, you can chose to use only one half of the card if one wanted to.

0
Posted 01 December 2013 at 02:58

No, I am talking about cards that allow you to choose either green or blue mana to play. Not split cards, but split MANA COST cards. Yes.

0

Okay, im sorry. But if you want to give me some that would help this deck, i would be glad to look at them.

0

Yes, I would. I have a few suggestions. Are you looking for creatures or other spells?

0

Doesnt matter, whatever you think is best.

0
Posted 01 December 2013 at 03:03

I think that blue is best, but obviously you don't care about blue at all, so I really am not sure. It's a toss-up between permanents and non-permanents. You choose.

What do you think i should do?

0

So i was thinking about what i could do to make this deck better, and i realized after much thought i needed crabs, Hedron Crab is perfect for this deck. thank you sir you are an inspiration

To much water can cause you to drown, but one can never get enough air which is green, thats why water is bad, and who would wanna be on a lonely island when you can be in a forest with animals!

Solid blue decks, can be a force to be reckoned with. Merfolk decks have now become the most retartded things on the planet because of the now best card in the game : True Name Nemesis

Protection from player. Get on blues level.

Psh Posh applesauce, but i do agree True Name is a rediculous card, but the only blue card id take to my mtg grave would be Tamiyo, she is my wife. nough said, what do you think of this deck:)

0

This deck is no nice, and you marry fiction card? Blue much better for winning and name of nemesis can yes be beaten.

0

Yes and maybe of the trueness of nemesis, if he is true can he be false nemesis?

0

Sorry about confusion, I took out my saproling 4 drop card because i didnt see a need, krenko's command and dragon fodder are enough + tukatounge and my mana giving 1 drops to devour, + khalni garden is a great land card for early devour.

0

Step five reads something along the lines of using thromok's devour to give him 6x6x2=72. Where does that second six come from? Wouldn't it just be 6x2? Or am I missing something here?

0
Posted 02 December 2013 at 06:05

Devour X means its Squared if he devours 4^2 = 16/16 so i was calculating like, if corpsejack was out and he devoured 6 creatures he would be a 72/72 due to the fact corpsejack doubles the number of 1/1 counters, hopefully i cleared that up for you

Yeah i have corpsejack, and in a perfect world lets say i fling thromok for..30 damage? but somehow gets prevented cuz the guy im playing against is a nerd and does that..then if i have kresh out, thromoks counters go to him making him 2x as strong. :)
