Deck Description

Decided to make a land-based (nearly) creatureless deck because I've never seen one on here. Basically just lands with special abilities and a few that become creatures. I would love to play it in a tourney! :D

Tabernacle at Pendral Vale FTW! Creature lands become lands at the end of the turn, so for my upkeep they won't die :D And darksteel colossus is so I never deck myself, just in case that becomes a problem. Also a nice stompy card.

Ward of Bones means they probably won't be playing many creatures (unless they have flash), and Mycosynth Lattice makes everything artifacts and allows me to use mana as any color, so when I play Blinkmoth Infusion I can double tap my lands and get any of the artifacts out pretty quick, also good for Academy and Sunhome.

Deck discussion for Living off the Land

You realize the reason such a deck hasn't been done is because it simply will not function, right? You can only play ONE LAND per turn, whereas you can play as many spells as you can afford (mana-wise) during your turn. You are limiting yourself with this deck.

You want cards like Expidition and Azusa, Lost but Seeking. Those cards give you the land boost you need to make this deck effective.

I think alot of people did besides Zaffo, btw thanks for mentioning my deck Zaffo. Anyway, I already see a few kill conditions in here. ALOT of them actually. Not every deck needs to go out with a bang. I really dont see any need for that in this deck. You could play a lone Decree of Justice and Cycle it for alot of Mana on the end of their turn for alot of Soldier tokens and a card draw like Landstill does. +1
