Nice deck, I like Triskaidekaphobia with burn, but this looks fun too.
yeah, I enjoy the burn ones aswell, but I just wanted to try something I haven't seen yet, it also destroys other tris decks because they can't get you at 13.
actually its at a bit of a disadvantage to other triskaidekaphobia decks
Not really, it did surprisingly well especially without the main cards it needs, that was thrown together, it disnt have zulaport, didn't have 4 triskaidekaphobias yet it still managed to get very close to winning
Soul separator could provide an alternate win condition. The tree's spirit could make an opponent have one life. It even works with triska's second ability
Wow! I didnt think of that, ill be sure to put that in the deck, That does however only work if tree of perdition dies, so I will only put in 2.
If you add in some "destroy target creature"s, then they could double purpose for dealing with creatures, or taking out the tree if you have soul separator. Here are the ones that would work best:MurderPuncturing LightSearing Light
IMO there are much better removal cards available in Standard rn. Grasp of Darkness is a great one, To the Slaughter (might not work in this deck), Fatal Push, even Anguished Unmaking which is more versatile.
Anguished unmaking, while good, wouldn't work with what I was talking about. I was giving removal that could also get the tree in the graveyard for soul separator.
Makes sense, To the Slaughter excels in that situation as it is a sacrifice where Grasp of Darkness does not sufficiently kill the tree.
