Deck Description

i deck i made for multi player. heavy on control with the gravepact. what it basically does is kill everyone else\'s creatures (and sometimes lands) and then deals lots of damage with guiltfeeder. i would love to have some feedback on it.

lots of small combos in this deck that are pretty easy to get going. such as using the cabal archon on itself while skullclamped. and if gravepact is out you get to draw 2 cards, take 2 life, make everyone sacrifice a creature. all for 1 black mana.

Deck discussion for grave depression multi

Wow, man, if you ask me, this deck is pretty beasty! I have no clue about rules and regulations and all that mess, but in casual play, I think you would own me, haha. You have some monstrous cards in this deck, too. Nature's Revolt is awesome, it's a game winner, ha. And your combos are sick. I love the Guiltfeeder card. Anyways, one love and great deck.

hey thanks i really appreciate it. i don't know how good it would hold up in duels. probably not very well since it is kinda slow. but in multi player slow can be alright cause people will ignore you till you get going. i still haven't played it that much but from what i have seen i like the way it operates.

I can see tombstone stairwell being sick in this deck. The idea is very sound. I just think that you would do better to run this deck black and blue and utilize Traumatize and Glimpse the Unthinkable. That would also give you access to psychic drain that nets you life and cards for your guiltfeeder. Then look into some sort of evasion for your guiltfeeder. If you ran it Black/Blue you could use Crafty Pathmage to make him unblockable.

Just another thought. I now notice Guiltfeeder has fear I didn't notice that before my bad. Still the Pathmage is a viable addition.

skywarp, thank you so much for your ideas they are really excellent! the only problem is that i almost always play multi player. i really like the way your thinking with the milling. you could easily deck someone if you make use of the altar. but i just think the green will end up being stronger in multi. the golgari germination give you 2 creatures to sacrifice for every one you play and that is really helpful in multi. also if i go blue i lose natures revolt and i really like that card

altar of dementia is sick and most likeley not a legal card. But this deck is good. i agree with skywarp in a way but you could make it all three colors and do it right. There are probably a whole heap of good cards for this deck that i dont even know about so i am not even going to start naming things

you could also put in life and limb so if you wanted to combo with natures revolt and the germinator you would still have mana. With the tutors it would be no problem executing the combo
