This is my first attempt at a discard deck. Any help is appreciated.

Buddy, I know that assassin's strike forces them to discard, and I know that it doesn't have the mono color restriction, but you should use ultimate price instead. you have enough other discard from every other card in the deck, you can afford to remove some of them and replace them with utilities, like Ultimate price.

Looking at your curve, I would recomend ultimate price before murder as you only have 2 other cards that have a 2cmc. I would also recomend removing the Rakdos Ring leader, and replacing it with Hellhole Flailer. It just gives you another beater you can sack for some damage if it outlives its usefulness.
No problem. I edited my last comment with another suggestion.
I'm a huge devour flesh fan. Awesome removal underrated IMO. 2 drop. And I think 4 dreadbore's need to find a place here. One of the best removals for rakdos.
In this deck, Devour flesh feels more like a sideboard card. He needs something that will let him dominate the board and hand early game, in the 2 drop slot if possible.
I don't feel that way at all. It's awesome when the opponent can only sacrifice his only Boros reckoner or what have you. But I get it. He's missing Dreadbore.
Ah! There ya go! Thats a great 2 drop that he's missing! And, from what I remember, its a 2 or 3 dollar rare now, so easy to procure. and the reason why I call devour flesh a sideboard card is that at my meta I have a lot of high toughness creatures in play.
Also love falkenrath aristocrats and Olivia voldaren. Both monsters.
noob camper
oh a Rakdos-Discard combo!... like no one ever thought of that
