But most of the time this deck ends up winning by chaining the higher CMC instants/Sorcerys. The activated ability is only good very late in the game so normally you don't get it it's better to build around the other ability. However I'm not opposed to a splendid reclamation/Metallurgic sommonings deck.

Plus it let's you hate out Kiki-Jiki combos and melira as well

I have trickling in the sideboard for that reason but it's more important to be able to play a torpor orb on 2 into something else on turn 3 instead of 2 drop trickbind on turn 4

Yeah and birds is getting a reprint so you don't need to spend a ridiculous $ 10 on that but I think wish may still be like 5. I would just recommend not investing until conspiracy 2 comes out
