A really simple combo. Have mentor of the meek in play. cast Leveler. cast laboratory maniac, and activate the mentor ability. Or even faster/cheaper. have a horn of greed in play, cast a leveler, play a land. in the end it's a badass 2 card combo. Laboratory Maniac/ Leveler.

tryin to balance lando and discard.
Anyone wanna help with a sideboard? I'm an old skool player and am still trin to incorporate some of the new cards into old ideas.
yeah, i was thinkin those. on my list, but not sure what to remove for them.
I like the sphinx idea, but the mana curve. Transmute Artifact and Lim-Duls Vault are what make this deck fast.
I could yank a couple standstills and try it out though.
Good idea, but I wouldn't hard cast the Chancellors anyway. I use the Hunting Grounds to get them in.
