Just an awesome, straightforward burn deck. A basic run down... ---------------------- ***Shrine: Obvious choice as it survives day and spot removal, as well as having the ability to be 2 mana, then 3 later on, for 8 damage casually ***Furnace Scamp: A solid one drop, where most of my drops are 2 drops, that can connect. You generally sac when you expect a gideon, a pyroclasm, a very large creature, etc... ***Goblin Guide: just a very efficient damage dealing creature ***Grim Lavamancer: Can attack early on (I guess) but mostly useful for finishing off creature and/or finishing off players ***Plated Geopede: Another very solid, efficient creature, whose first strike ability enables me to deal with big creatures very well without having to waste a bolt, and it gives me an excuse to use tap-sac lands (Which thin the deck more than you think) ***Chandra's Phoenix: A great hawk blocker - AND it can come back but also a 3 mana hasty with evasion through flying. ***Bolt: goes without saying ***Staggershock: 2 triggers for shrine for free, and 4 damage I can use as I choose ***Arc trail: The decks incinerate is better against, it's not THAT much better, but the decks are trail are btter against, it's a LOT better than incinerate, so I went with it MB, and skipping on the later ***Flame Slash: Odd choice, but with all the annoying spellskites and overgrown battlements around, 4 damage can be a beating, and is very efficient for 1 answer. ---------------------- SIDE BOARD: ---------------------- ***Hex parasite is great answer to baby jace as he gets bigger, and an answer to koth as well as gideon. ***combust helps against splinter twin decks and other UW decks ***Dismember is just for anything I won't be able to deal with, and amazing against splinter twin ***incinerate is worth is just for a bit of extra burn if there's anything they'll be dropping in the 2 or 3 toughness slot, which is actually a lot more often than you think......
