This is a fun little combo deck that is cheap considering how strong it is but can be made cheaper by removing Urborg, and Mutavault. Just add Desolate Lighthouse and Gitu Encampment. I know it has it's weaknesses but don't all decks. This is still testing and I know there are more expensive builds but this is a list of what I have. It's a nice casual FNM deck but don't expect to beat everyone with this cos it's extremely reliant on your opening hand.Sensible comments are welcome.
Game 1 Ideally you want to go second in case you have Gemstone Caverns. Ideal starting hand has Treasure Hunt and Reliquary Tower so you can attempt to go off turn 3. I tend to mulligan any hand without ant least one of Treasure Hunt, Muddle in the Mixture or Counrtyside Crusher. If you don't have Reliquary Tower, only cast Treasure Hunt turn 3 before you play a land to try find one to play that turn. Turn 1: play island or blue tapped land. (Should be Blue though)Turn 2: Ideally play a red source then cast Treasure Hunt. This will ideally turn over 7-10 lands then Lightning storm.Turn 3: play an untapped red source then cast Lightning Storm which does 3 damage on it's own +2 damage for each land you discard while it's on the stack which should be 9 if they're still on 20 life. This will do 21 damage! Make sure to do the math correctly and DON'T discard more lands than you needed to.***WARNING***(Learn how Lightning Storm Works!!!)If your opponent discards a land then they can kill you by changing Lightning Storms target so it's best to have some spare lands in hand to prevent this.Sideboard is just to change things up a bit and remain unpredictable. Have Fun! :-)
