I have to agree, if control is just a crutch then a person with good skill should be able to outmaneuver the opponent. Or if they annoy a person that much then build an anti-control deck. There problem solved. Well at least till they use another form of control and annoy you again. Lol.

I was actually thinking of Illusionist's Bracers for this deck. You have so many single target tappers that the illusionist's bracers would let you kill more for a single tap. Just an Idea, I love the deck though. It seems like it would be fun to try and play against some of my friends.
Testament of Faith is another good one for this deck.
Unfortunately, there aren't very many 5 color legendary creatures to pick from as a commander. I wish they would release more so I had more options to pick from. lol.
Lol I can see why!
I can understand that. The deck is a very low cost deck.
I must say this is an interesting deck you have going here. Very low costs making it seem like a very fast builder. Well done! Just toss darksteel forge in there and you can walk across the field unhindered.
I agree with you there it would be fun. I currently only have a premade commander deck. I have been pondering a couple ideas for decks though.
Well I think yours are better for your deck, because they affect opponents as well. Where as the Obelisk is only for you.
Deathtouch would be a really good idea. I'll have to look into that. And it isn't really an edh deck, just casual for fun really.
I see what you mean, I had forgot about the Blood Clock and didn't know about Umbilicus. But those would definitely be better choices for this deck in particular.
Yeah I misunderstood. Hmm.... On that note I am put in the mind of Obelisk of Undoing. High cost but it would let you return any permanent to your hand.
Lol that is kinda funny. :) there might even be a couple other things in my laccolith deck that might help out in this deck. I personally like using reconnaissance with the laccolith.
Buried Ruin is a good land for returning arifacts. That's one I use in my spellbomb deck for returning my Salvaging stations. And it would be nuts if the cursed rack targeted all opponents lol. But very fun indeed.
Thanks, it is one of my favorites to play. And which deck were you wanting me to check out? I didn't get a link or anything.
I think a Palisade Giant would work well for keeping damage off you as well. You could also look into the Laccolith Warrior, Laccolith Whelp, Laccolith Grunt, Laccolith Titan, and Laccolith Rig. Those would allow you to redirect the damage from there attacks where you wanted it. Just a couple suggestions.
With so much discarding going on I would suggest Megrim and Cursed Rack. Both older cards but I think would go great with this concept.
I must say, I love the concept of this deck. Bravo!
I thought about that. But Spawnsire of Ulamog is colorless, he doesn't share the colors of the rest of the deck. But the thought did cross my mind.
I will have to look into that.
