Deck discussion for Abyssal Persecutor

Royal Assassin is a good way to take out your persecutor once it's inflicted it's damage as well.

Should put in sark the mad because he can sak your persecutors.

Sarkhan costs 5 mana... kinda spendy if all he needs is a sacrifice. Yeah he fits the colors of the deck... but Consuming Vapors, Royal Assassin or Gatekeeper of Malakir are all much better options for 1 to 2 mana cheaper.

Bloodthrone Vampire might be the best bet though. Just thought of it.

brilliant.
well, there's some stuffs that i want to tell.
first of all, you NEED something in your graveyard to play the immortal coil.
replace fleshbag marauder with gatekeeper of malakir. (you want something in your graveyard but not in your opponent's)
and, i think Sorin's not worth it in there. The mana cost's bleh. replace it with blightning. (depends on the situation but you can use it on yourself)
last thing. the Slave of Bolas is confusing me. If there's the persecutor on the opponent's field, why would you get it back? since you gave it because you're losing, or for the finishing blow.

The Immortal Coil is for the opponent. Immortal Coil+Bazaar Trader+Bojuka Bog= Win..........€Only if you can get them out.

man.... it looks slow... but besides that, i've been looking at a deck like this for awhile. this deck looks like it'll fare well late game, but get rocked early game-- we'll have to see...

I agree. It looks slow, which seems to defeat the whole point of the Abyssal Persecutor to begin with. I do like how you found multiple combos for your Bazaar Trader. 4x2 Planeswalkers seems overkill. I'd rather play 2 of each (if that) and swap in 4x Diabolic Tutor's for more versatility (to either fish for your Planeswalkers or get out your killer combo. Finally, Demonic Appetite and Consuming Vapors are superb compliments to Abyssal Persecutors that you might want to consider.
