Deck Description

Gotta love Ripple. In a nut shell Thrumming Stone will give all the spells you play ripple when a spell hits the stack it will get ripple and will trigger for each instance. You will inevitably empty your deck with a horde of Relentless Rats.

There are actually 32x Relentless Rats not the listed four

Wrath of god or any counter spell on the stone and you sunk. Its a good idea but it would be too easy to deck you if you played them all at once. add some tomb stalkers from future sight then if they wrath of god the board you can just delve and have a 6/6 flying trample into play which they will have to deal with.

Man, forget all the random counter-decking, ha, this deck beasts! I love it, bro! In a random, casual match-up you'd win everytime!

Casual my rear! I just used it tonight at my local card shop tournament and went 6-2. The Look on someones face when you get thrumming stone of first turn is priceless.

Splashing red would be interesting but I would much rather add Pandemonium in the deck if I were to run that route. And let me be real honest here. If you play this in a tournament, if no body knows you are going to be playing this type of a deck then 9 out of 10 times those what if situations are ridiculously meaningless. Because by the time they figure out your deck its too late. The only reason I lost tonight was because of land kill.

Tournaments at my card shop usually top out at 5 rounds! You lucky dog, getting 8.
Anyhow. I've seen versions of this deck before run Coat of Arms (For obvious reasons. Muahaha.) and it works scary well. I think I also saw a version with Pandemonium... somewhere...
Wait, I might have made that last part up. D=
