Deck Description

This is what I have so far, I like it, but it needs help with a sideboard, this is a budget deck so if you can suggest nice cheap cards to add/sideboard that'd be fantastic!

HELP!

Deck discussion for White Warriors Type 2

Something about sideboards.... a Sideboard shouldnt have Main Board cards. Sideboards are built to carry stuff that you may need against decks your deck isnt good against. Like if you have a hard time with red, you put Chill in the sideboard. Thats how people are suppose to be play sideboards. The Armorsmith is definetly not gonna help you against any specific deck. White fortunately has alot of stuff you can play against other decks.

Why would you worry about Infest? if you are worried about Infest then you are probably overcommitting to the board and playing your cards to fast. White has alot of good cards: Story Circle, Wheel of Sun and Moon, Sacred Ground, Ghostly Prison etc etc

you're playing aggo, journey to nowhere and o-ring are both slow removal, something aggro does better without (o-ring is best sideboarded anyway) path would be a better option. brave the elements is cool, harm's way is broken, but I see narrow escape as a little unnecessary.

that's the sad thing about magic: if you want good cards sometimes you gotta spend money

Well its just a start, and you have to start somewhere, I'm going to spend 5 bucks on this and try it out in tournaments...

Obviously, you are aware that Path to Exile exists, and it should at least be in the sideboard if you can get it; so I won't go into that. For that matter, Day of Judgment belongs in this deck, BUT, again, that can come later.

Arrow Volley Trap and Pitfall Trap are possible alternatives to the removal you already have (that are Type 2 legal, of course). I would definitely drop the total number of lands down and add some more awesome low mana cost creatures (drop it to 18 or so in my opinion). Harm's Way is an AWESOME card, you should probably run 4. Narrow Escape isn't that awesome, I wouldn't run it at all, I'd just throw in some more low cost creatures. I'm not sure about Rhox Pikemaster, if you want to keep them in there, I'd only run 2.

Some awesome low cost creatures: Aven Squire (Flying + Exalted = Amazing), Knight of the White Orchid (maybe too expensive for you), Sigiled Paladin, Kor Aeronaut, Ranger of Eos (maybe too expensive for you)...

This is a good start for a soldier deck, just add better cards as you get them and this will be a great deck. Good luck with it.
