Leveling Knights with knights that buff each other. Looking for Idea's on how strong this is. Its lacking for flying defense and I am hesitant to pull out any of the cards for something like a cloud crusader.

One of the first decks I made was a Knight deck, really fun theme and fun deck to play. I would make the following changes: -4 Knight of Cliffhaven -4 Venerated Teacher -1 Venser -4 Unsummon -1 Guardian’s Pledge -1 Cloud Crusader -1 Mamoth Umbra -2 Knight Captain of Eos +4 Contagion Clap +3 Honor of the Pure/ Time for Heroes +4 Journey to Nowhere/Path to Exile +2 Student of Warfare +1 Brave the elements +4 Bladed Pinions These changes should take care of some of the problems you might run into. It speeds up the deck by cutting down the manacost. Helps you proliferate the levelers and should take care of any flying threats through removal or Blades Pinions. I agree with the contagion clasp's, never thought of those, and I like the Honor of the Pure/Time of Heroes, but I think that I have far too many levelers to get rid of the venerated teachers especially due to the 3-4 cost per level. A teacher is 3 mana for 2 levels to all levelers, Unsummon him back to my hand for 1 mana and back down for 3 mana, 4 levels for any leveler creatures on the field.
Valid point and good combo. If you’ll keep the blue, why not put in some more blue creatures? Will take care of some flying problems as well. Champion’s Drake is a good 2 drop and ofcourse Coralhelm Commander is a beast although both aren’t knights and won’t contribute to your theme.
I have several blue leveling creatures that are very good. I don't use them because of the theme, But I might consider putting a few of them back in just to deal with the flying problem. Thanks for the idea, I appreciate it
Your a little weak on flying. Consider adding levitation or bladed pinions.
There's an interesting combo with leech bonder and paradise mantle that will allow you to move any number or kind of counters from any creature to any other creature at instant speed. This could be used to make your time of heroes apply to more creatures and make your proliferating more effective. Combine that with something that can produce -1/-1 counters on your opponents creatures such as contagion clasp/engine.
That is an interesting combo. I don't think I could move the buffs from the Time of heroes though. Because Time of Heroes does not give 2 +1/+1 counters it only provides +2/+2 as long as the levelers have a levels on them, but that combo is infinite mana. Thank you for the idea.
