I'm trying to make a good combo of podding into bigger guys to activate morbid and utilizing undying to keep defenders on the field after they've been podded. The big obstacle is the four drop for creatures as I can't find a good drop for this deck. Comments are welcome and encouraged. 2/21/12 EDIT: Totally revamped the deck so it hopefully runs faster and better. Sideboard ideas still desperately needed. 2/22/12 EDIT: Added a sideboard and tweaked main to make turn 2 pod viable.

I like Necrotic Ooze at the 4 slot or Lumberknot, both can work fine with a Birthing Pod or I guess podding into a Phyrexian Obliterator/ Thrun, TLT is also pretty nice. Or you could go for a Solemn Simulacrum or a Skinrender both with great abilities.

I have a necrotic ooze, lumber knots, no obliterators, 3 thruns, no extra simulacrums, and skinrenders, which would you give the nod to put in the deck?
there are more fun things at the 2 spot like perilous myr, or viridian emissary and as for three slot, try geralf's messanger instead of predator ooze. i like morokut banshee and would rather have 2 of her rather than the scavenger. and increase the amount of tragic slips to four, maybe put some more removal, like go for the throat. i'd have to see it play to analyze further.
Problem: in my kindness I traded my one messenger to Tim for his zombie deck so he could have one good deck to play at FNMs with and during that trade I picked up a second ooze so I am using those. Question: should I flat out switch to undying and forget about the high priest and disciple?
To me, Predator Ooze seems weird in the deck...
