Would you consider Bloodchief Ascension a good card for this deck? I was thinking about 2 of the quest with 2 of those

That makes sense, although my Scroll Thieves often find themselves lightening bolted more often than with my merfolk spies . Should I bother putting in mind spring for more draws? I wanted to limit the deck to control, but I could add it.

I started playing magic a while after Zendikar came out, so I just missed the alara boat. I mean, I have a bunch of cards from conflux and reborn, but I dont have too many cards from shards. In my aura deck I have a few Garruks Companion, just because its 2 for a 3/2 with trample, that benefit from cards like Snake Umbra or Celestial Mantle. However because it requires 2 green mana, I always cast him lated than I would like.

Lol, oh my god, but i don't think it would fit in with this deck mechanically, otherwise that would be awesome

Wow, didnt even know that either of those cards exsisted. The Bloodhusk is really good, I might buy some to add to this deck. But actualy, Ive always depended on the megrims to win. The quest are in there as more of a threat so that the player makes sure they have a hand. It makes them choose if they want me to pay to discard it, at worse doing 2 damage (one megrim out) or if they want to epmty their hand and take 5 damage or make the guul draz specter a 5/5

I would take out the Diminishes and one Clone, then add 1 more Preordain, Foresee and Augry Owl... but thats just me.

Lol. It was just a deck Idea I proposed, set with a theme in mind: the Wurms of the Tangle. Otherwise I would have made this deck a bit diffrerently. But all these Ideas are great. If I were to make a serious deck using the myr combo I would probably splash blue for card draw and fetch artifacts.

Oh, I see. You should add Throne of Geth, so that you could sacrifice the Necropedes, proliferate with the Throne, then cast Corpse Cur to Disentomb the Necropede

2 mana myrs+ 2 myr galvanizer= Tap for 1 mana, tap for another to pay for the myr galvanizer ability. All of them except for one galvanizer are untapped, then repeat as many times as needed

I have the Merfolk Spys in there for a one drop that I could cast on my first turn, or on a turn where I would have 1 mana extra along with the mana I need for my counter spells. Also, his ability allows me to see a card from my opponents hand so I know if I might want to save my mana. I used to have 4 Scroll Thiefs and 2 Merfolk Spys, but in my opinion they were too expensive and often got bolted, or I used them to chump block. I was also thinking of putting in Enclave Cryptologist, any thoughts on that?

You *could* also add green spells

You also add green spells, such as protean hydra, gelatinous genesis or genesis wave, otherwise the Raging Ravines would defiantly be a good choice.

I want to try that combo out with a protean hydra or a genesis wave. There are tons of spells that work well with this myr combo

Lol, you really like those oracles, huh. I have holy strength in my aura deck to beef up the sacred wolves a bit, but then again, I have hardly any totem armor. I would probably use the totem armors instead. ALso if your keeping the oracles you might want to consider armored ascension. It can get pretty big, even in a multi color deck, and it gives flying, which was a problem in my aura deck.

Interesting idea, myr tribal deck based on the 3 mirrodin enemy color swords, but what is with the marsh flats? I see no purpose for them at all in this deck
