This started out as a UB preconstructed deck that I picked up when started playing MtG again a few months back. Since then it has progressed away from the control portion, which wiped out most of my blue. Now it is currently the Rakdos deck that you see before you, with the black devotion mechanic still in play.As I progress through this deck, I have become more and more satisfied playing this deck, however I have played against a few standard decks, and if I let them live past turn 5, the game doesn't end well in my favor. Looking for suggestions for this deck. Also, I do not have unlimited funds. This deck was built mostly from my stash. I do have extras of a lot of these cards, but there are still some stragglers that need to come out.
Mulligan for a B/R or two and some mana. Burst out the gate with the Cackler and the Shred-Freak if possible, stack devotion, then pull the Gray Merchants. That has been my latest strategy. The longer games work out decently with the extra creatures (devotion) on the board. At least most of the time.

Nice rakdos on a budget.
