Deck discussion for Help please

Sprout swarm is one spell, and you are getting -1 off when you play it already even if your not buying it back. buying it back is not casting an additional spell it is part of the cost. so if thats not clear with emerald medallion in play casting it will cost you {G} if you buy it back it cost you
3{G}.
I'm not sure if that was your question or not you confused me in what you were asking hope i could help.

The Medallion makes Sprout Swarm cost 1 green. If you had two Medallions out, the second would reduce the buyback cost because it's an additional cost to play the spell. It would also work for kicker costs. In combination with Chorus of the Conclave, it would allow you to put a "free" +1/+1 counter on a creature as you play it.

But there are much better cards. Urza's Incubator or Blood Funnel, for instance.

Sorry. Not Urza's Incubator (I was thinking of Urza's Filter). I meant Cloud Key. Stone Calendar, or Stonescape Familiar would also work.
