As I was constructing this deck, I found myself wondering if certain combos could be legally pulled off. For example, if you lay down Transcendence+Everlasting Torment+Bond of Agony, can you pay infinite life to Bond of Agony and win the game? The original idea was for Transcendence+Sanguine Bond+Bond of Agony/Skeletal Scrying to deal the death blow. If you get in trouble you lay down Everlasting Torment, and when your life was sufficiently low enough to continue, you bounced it to your library with Disempower. The other spells serve to lock your opponent or keep you alive should your life drop dangerously low before Transcendence comes into play. Any thoughts?

I think you can only pay up to as much life as you have... which would be 20. You wouldn't be able to pay infinite because after you pay 20, you won't have any more life left to pay with, and I'm pretty sure you can't go negative. The other combo looks like it would work though, the one with Sanguine Bond etc.
