Tested in two tournament rounds of four players each, (1 win, 1 loss) This deck operated *perfectly* in its first game. Second game went more like 3 players vs Ulamong (player holding Capsize, using repeatedly). While I did terrible, I was nonetheless very pleased with the operation of Feed the Pack, which gave me many permanents to sac for Annihilator [4]. Omnath was cast 5 separate times this game. Ultimately, Asceticism would have saved me from Capsize, as would have Dosan, the falling leaf (was not in deck), or Avoid Fate (also was not in deck). Vernal Equinox would have also been nice to preserve Omnath's mana pool when he got Capsized- but VE is dangerous because it isn't just a benefit for the caster. Upwelling is a safer option that does the same (though not quite as sharply as flashing him right back out). Post game edits: Taunting Elf changed to Shinen of Life's Roar (more modular for one more colorless) Sword of Vengeance out. Dosan the Falling Leaf in. (global safety over single boost) Strata Scythe out. Beastmaster Ascension in. (global boost over single boost. Feed the Pack was awesome) Ideal changes not yet made (don't have cards): Creeping Mold out, Beast Within in (die die die planeswalkers) Eternity Vessel out, Avoid Fate in (Eternity Vessel has to come out early, but is expensive. On top of that, by including such contingency cards, you are planning on losing. Play to win. Avoid Fate could make the difference against a bunch of instants) Some sideboard explanations: Carpet of Flowers: if more than one opponent has blue in their general's colors, get mana (sub for a forest) Springjack Pasture: if worried about heavy counterspelling or creature stealing: land can't be countered. land activated ability to make goats can't be countered. Buff them. Sac them with land ability again if a steal attempt is made. (sub for forest) Soul Conduit: more offensive than Eternity Vessel. Make them regret life draining you. Want to add: Caged Sun, Gauntlet of Power Also consider: Green Sun's Zenith, Genesis Wave, Ranger's Guile (weaker than Avoid Fate, but similar) Spearbreaker Behemoth, Tooth and Nail, Wurmcalling Spidersilk Armor (global enchant for my critters)
