Knighting

Main Deck (60 cards)

Sideboard (0 cards)

No sideboard found.

The owner of this deck hasn't added a sideboard, they probably should...

Submit a list of cards below to bulk import them all into your sideboard. Post one card per line using a format like "4x Birds of Paradise" or "1 Blaze", you can even enter just the card name by itself like "Wrath of God" for single cards.

Deck Description

Mono White Knight Deck. I really want to put in 4 Brave the Elements, because they have multiple uses for an incredible cheap mana cost, but i cant figured out want i can take out, maybe Honor of the Pure or Accorder Paladin. Please comment!

10/04/12: I made up my mind, and put out the 3 Pentarch Paladin and 1 Oblivion Ring and added 4 Brave The Elements.

Deck discussion for Knighting

You may use...
> Hero of Bladehold
> you can Wrath of God if your deck is not a Standard-type.
> Mirran Crusader is a must (quite not too expensive now)
> Swords to Plowshares
> Path to Exile
> Sun Titan
> Angelic Destiny
> Gideon Jura support Day of Judgement and First-strike creatures
> or Splash some green lands for Gavony township or Overwhelming Stampede.

I used to play Knight Deck before... It got many trouble when fight with Flying decks
You may prepare some Corrosive Gale and Ratchet Bomb to deal with them in the sideboard.

Thanks for the help pal, you are right about Wrath of God, is a classic but i forgot it, is almost the same but better than Day of Judgment. Mirran Crusader is more for a sideboard imo, the 3 mana for a 2/2 with double strike is good but not great, and protection from black and green is situational, not necessary to have always in the deck. I run Oblivion Ring instead of Swords to Plowshares or Path to Exile because i have already other cards, (Day of Judgment./Wrath of God, Elspeth Tirel) that destroy creatures, but exile a permanent is better, and Pentarch Paladin helps too. Corrosive Gale is great, i didnt know it, great for the sideboard. Thanks again for the help!

Brave the Elements is definitely a great idea! If I was going to put it into your deck I would probably take the Planeswalkers and/or the Pentarch Paladin out and add it in. A few knights out with doublestrike and a well timed brave the elements will end the game. Taking out the more expensive ones will speed up the deck. If you are in a multiplayer game which will last longer for you then that would be a different story imo. If that is the case then I would just eliminate a few of the multiple lower end creatures and add the Brave the Elements in. I hope that helps! Here is my deck for your critique though I would like to put that card in as well! Im sick of my knights getting killed by instants lol!!!

Of the Cat Knights, only Leonin Skyhunter could be put here, put i prefer Knight of Meadowgrain, Knight of the White Orchid and Accorder Paladin for the funcionality they have. The idea is keeping on offense, so the flying creatures that the opponent could have are used for block my knights, or if i coulndĀ“t, remove them with Oblivion Ring or whatever i had. Thanks for comment.

You need some flying defense. How about Armored Ascension? I would also add in Path to Exile. Creature wise Hero of Bladehold.

i would also add in some day of judgments, u get out 2 knight exemplars(they make eachother indestructale if you have to) and since all ur knights become indestructable you play day of judgment and you leave ur opponents wide open, maybe add in a splash of red so if u do this u can fling it and take out multiple players if ur oponent decides to play sumtn that prevents combat damage or if ur playing muttiple players so u can take out multiple people in one turn

I agree but wrath of god trumps day of judgement. Also, I used to play against a white deck that ran wing shards, it's good against an agro deck, especially when combined with cheap instants like your brave the elements. Someone attacks you, you slam protection from their color, your storm count is at least 1 (probably more if they played anything during their main phase one, which most people do), then play wing shards. They sac 2 or more attacking creatures, and they are probably only attacking with their biggest, then you block the rest with your protected creatures. It wrecks board position almost as bad as wrath.

In multiplayer, you can even do it when they are attacking an opponent, it you think it is strategically wise.

Oh, and I just realized I have a deck that does something similar to your wrath strategy. It's a treefolk deck that makes every treefolk indestructible before dropping damnation.
