Deck Description

Koth deck. Focusing on burn. Only real combo other than all the burn and kiln fiend/spitfire, is goblin guide, and cerebral eruption. You can attack with the guide to see what card they have top deck, and then if its a suitably big one, hit them with the eruption. I use Koth rather then the chandra's because well, hes awesome, and he can produce a lot of mana for me. You can cast him turn 4, use his -2, and cast cerebral eruption same turn. Or a couple bolts to fuel a fiend.

Deck discussion for Koth Burn

Nice idea's, good for type two, take out the Arc Trails and put in 4 lightning bolts, and with all the Koth you could risk a higher mana spell or two... or fireball/blaze type spell.

there are 4 bolts.

and the idea is to cast multiple spells rather than 1 big one, thus pumping up the fiends and spitfires.

Sorry i missed the lightning bolts, but with all the mana you could get from koth's ability you could play bigger ones. (first turn of koth do the +1, second one do the mana booster... play something huge and all the littles too)

What are you talking about?

Koth is by far the most powerful Planeswalker in a mono red deck!

Well... I tend not to even use Plainswalkers in Red decks... Chandra is too slow (win on turn 7 instead of turn 4-5) the main boost I see with koth is the second ability giving you mana for spells with X in the mana cost... I can see banefire and fireballs flying around...
