I'd seriously take out the maindeck naturalizes..

Needs hardened scales.
so the biggest improvement I see is the replacement of that triton card with slither blade, which makes sense since it's a strict upgrade. Do you know anyone who would actually consider playing this in modern? I am.
even better, invest $5 into Pauper kamigawa block tiny leaders. (I seriously ocnsidered it given the cost of an average deck is in the $5 range)
I have a deck that only has one rare(I think) and would be glad to play with you... only it's key to the city and it's a 3-of.(I could easily tweak it to switch 2 keys with 2 flings, I guess)
your deck looks like it isn't as all-in on the combo, I guess you didn't have makeshift munitions or firebrand archer tho... I didn't think of welding sparks(even though I have 2 of them), but I guess in a deck like this it could be pretty good.cogworker's puzzleknot is a card I generally like, I mean, having a 1/1 at instant speed is always good(and you get a servo on the way in as well).
forums? I posted a thread in early septenber and the response count is still zero.
I built a similar deck, however the deck I built used cards like Aethergeode miner, Aetherwind basker, and so on so you can get a lot of energy counters just when you attack, so you didn't need as much energy ramp.
seems neat. I tried building a similar deck, didn't work as well. Tishana is key, honestly I like cheating her out with champion of rhonas(one of the best ways to get fatties out without too much ramp)
THis seems pretty difficult to set up, but once you do, it seems almost unstoppable. Neat. too bad a bunch of cards from this cycled out of stadard
I had a similar deck, Iand it played pretty well.
Immediately thought of thishttps://what-if.xkcd.com/imgs/a/48/empire_eclipse.png
it's not standard legal... I mean, the mtgvault isn't updated, and there are a lot of cards in there that aren't actually standard legal since ixalan was released.
any card that removes the board of all creatures somehow. Bontu's last reckoning, wrath of god, damnation, etc. the strong point of these cards is that they get around hexproof.
so... you win by tree of perdition+ phobia? or block -> tap -> kill? seems interesting.
You could make a shadowborn deck a lot bigger than normal and have it be consistent, cuz all the shadowborn and rune-scarred demons, and so it's really possible(and I have) to make a triple-plan battle of wits deck. plan #1: win with battle of wits. this is actually slower than you'd think, and not as fun as the other ways.plan #2: win with a bunch of demons. Sac 6 shadowborn, tutor griselbrand with shadowborn, etc. etc.plan #3: win by beatdow with shadowborn apostles. you play rune-scarred demon, tutor thrumming-stone, then play one or two shadowborn apostles the next turn, get a whole bunch of shadowborn apostles out of your deck onto the battlefield, swing lethal no matter what. if they have a sweeper, fuck it! play another shadowborn and repeat.all in all, I think shadowborn apostles in modern actually benefit from a huge deck, since you can then get over 100 of them out on the battlefield at once(theoretically, it makes sense to keep about half in case of a sweeper)this deck that you mentioned is pretty fun tho.
so key to the city instead of fling? I like that plan. pretty huge fan of key myself, I think it's underrated.
yeah, definitely put out thrumming-stone, and a rue-scarred demon. In fact, I think maybe the most powerful aspect of a shadowburn deck is the consistency,if you miss the thrummingstone, then you can play rune-scarred demon and then find it play it next turn, and cast all of your shadowburn apostles.
this looks so cool
the rarest dino pepe. noice. not legal in standard(eldritch moon's in it, as well as battle for zendikar, at least)? is this a modern deck?
