In testing I've found this to be the case. I think Cathedral Membrane would definitely be a good choice to help this problem. Thanks for the input.

Thank you for the suggestion. I thought about it, and I definitely feel like the deck would benefit from more kill cards as well as some Vampire Interlopers for added flying.
Thanks for the input. I definitely do agree that my mana needs to be rebalanced. I wasn't really thinking about it when I made the deck. As for the card suggestions, I would love to have those cards in this deck, but I was trying to make the deck standard format legal come September when the Zendikar block and Magic 2011 are removed from standard play.
I completely forgot about that rule. Thanks.
I really like the idea of this deck. I would, however, suggest trying to get a nice tap, untap, tap, etc. combo going with Gilder Bairn. For example, Minister of Impediments or Rhystic Deluge would work really well.
Oh, I didn't even think of that. I was just planning on using a combo of Eldrazi Monument and Awakening Zone to sustain it, but an umbra would be significantly easier to play and maintain. Thanks for the input.
Considering your strategy, I would suggest getting an Anowon, the Ruin Sage. All your creatures are vampires, so you are protected from his ability why your opponents keep having to sacrifice a creature at the beginning of your upkeep. He only costs 5, so he isn't too expensive either.
