This is a sliver deck I threw together after getting myself some M14 cards. I plan on bringing it to my local FNM once I have a few friday nights free. It has 2 setups at the moment, the first (as-is) is a straight 29 creature Aggro deck meant to overwhelm my opponent with slivers. The second (sideboarded) can make this an aggro/burn deck by siding out the Galerider, Syphon, Groundshaker Slivers and the Savage Summonings, and replacing them with the Annihilating Fires, Shocks, and Mizzium Mortars.
For opening hands I like to see at least 2 or 3 land (at least 1 forest, 1 Mountain and preferably a shockland or shimmering grotto), 1 manaweft sliver, 1 predatory sliver, 1 Door of Destinies and a Darksteel Ingot.I get the shockland (if I drew one) on the field first, followed by a forest and a manaweft sliver to prepare my mana fixing. Next turn I drop my fourth land and tap 3 to get the Darksteel Ingot on the field. Turn four I drop land, play Door of destinies, naming Slivers, then tap the Ingot and my manaweft to bring out the Predatory Sliver adding +1/+1 to all slivers, and adding a charge counter to the door for another +1/+1. Once the door is on the field it is a matter of dropping as many slivers as possible to get them as large as possible (in playtesting I had an 11/11 Groundshaker sliver along with an 8/8 Blur sliver and an 8/8 Sentinel Sliver). I have Boros Charms in the deck for the sole purpose of giving all my permanents Indestructible, which saves my army against board wipe. In the unfortunate event that I don't have a charm and my slivers die, I added Elixir of Immortality to replenish my library if I need to.In playtesting I found that against other Aggro decks, the lack of removal in the deck could be a problem, which is why I have added the burn spells to the sideboard. I found that by decreasing the number of slivers (removing slivers that are more for fun than anything ie. Syphon sliver) and adding in the Shocks, Annihilating Fires and especially Mizzium Mortars, I was able to reduce the number of opposing threats or blockers. As is the norm with most Sliver decks, the main idea is to get as many slivers on the field as possible and overwhelm your opponent.
